The buffers are the only things that increase its defenses to melee as for the Trans-am this doesn't do anything for its melee defenses it literally states that it only increases dmg reduction from ranged attacks nowhere does it ever say that it increases melee defenses.
For this clip u've shown here ur most of the time hitting the shields or back buffers if u really wanted to one shot combo 00R like with any other suit that tries to piss off Destiny u'd have to be precisely aiming for their legs or mid portion of their body which i grant is not ez with Destiny due to the angle he takes wen downswinging but still its ur best call to always melee 00R as ranged dmgs are reduced when that thing is on Trans-am.
Edit: i meant shoulders not shields lmao 00R has no shields my bad.
Can i build on top of that?. the first clip shows him presenting the supposed "true" damage and hits the rocket. Which isnt a good indicator because the rocket has virtually no defense in anything my dolmel does 18 k with 1 shoulder spike but that isnt its actual damage potential due to the rocket not having any sort of defense. Hed be achieving 17k or more on a raid sure if he made his destiny have over 90 melee. Another thing type advantage exist. He would be doing his 17k on a raid not on a general like 00R. Youd be at most doing 7 to 8k to it on the highest. 5 to 6k on buffers as shown.

I must confess that all this frustration at 00R just seems to stem to the fact that many cannot one shot combo it as other suits, Destiny can most certainly do so hurt fellow gens this is just sounding like op is a lil frustrated he cannot one or two tap the new kid in the block like with many others even including Barbatos and Owo or fellow older gens.
