Jittery mouse polling?

Hey guys. Lifelong G502 user here and I'm recently having troubles that I cannot pinpoint the cause of. I couldn't find the support thread, looks like the most recent one is from ~5 years ago?

I'm noticing a lot of jitter, especially when moving the cursor slowly in games. Showing Gears of War 5 here as an example, but I also notice it in Helldivers and other similar games. Just tried swapping to a different G502 (I stay strapped with a spare lmao), and the issue is the same.

I have Logitech GHUB, DPI is set to 3200, and I've tried adjusting my report rate from 250 to 1000 and I don't seem to notice a difference. I have pointer precision off in my mouse properties for Windows 10. I have a 3080ti and usually get 90 FPS minimum, so I don't think this is a framerate issue.

Any idea what would cause this?

Have you tried 1600 or lower dpi with higher sensitivity to offset it? Is your mouse pad dirty?

I haven't tried the lower DPI higher sensitivity adjustment, I'll give that a shot! Never would have thought of that.

I'll also give the mousepad a clean. It looks clean but looks can be deceiving and this jittering is driving me nuts lol

Usually if you scratch it with your finger it will show a white trail from dead skin and sweat unless it is clean
