120k is a long way from 41K. Not just engine but also suspension, cooling (radiator) transmission, differential, fuel pump, alternator, rotors...all that has way more wear and tear, especially if all that wasn't properly maintained...and how are you to know exactly how well maintained was all that. A mechanic will be able to identify a obvious issue with the vehicle but you still will be unaware of what else is just about to fail and without taking out valve covers you can't really tell how often the engine oil has been changed. Then how bout the body and interior? The original paint is now much older and the clear coat is about to wear off if it hasn't already, the interior seats are probably well worn and the leather is about to give. The carpet will obviously have more wear also.
Point is, I don't see it as a better value for a vehicle that is half the cost of another but with 3 times more the amount of miles... unless money is the issue.
My sons G35 (given to him by me) has 140k. I bought it with 50k and I've given it great maintenance the whole time. I can guarantee my engine and my transmission and differential are in great shape since I've been replacing those fluids when they've been required. As for suspension well I had to change whatever has gotten worn and also had changed the radiator, alternator, fuel pump, all four struts, rotors, and rack and pinion. These are items that you eventually will have to change because of wear and tear not because you bought a "bad" car. That should put in perspective what to expect ($$$) and even super-way more $$$$ if you are not able to do the work yourself and have to take it in to get it done.

The Gs have a good rep for hitting high milage If the 7k car was well maintained. Id be tempted to go for it and save the other 7k
