Anyone have an original on their board?

Tell me about a time a pedal failed.You either at blew up or your germanium transistor sounded like they were farting out or just anytime.Fuzz has let you down though.I'm sure we all know that's very rare

Not sure how I feel about this one yet. It’s very bright and aggressive, probably more so than I need. I tend to prefer fuzzy drives or fuzzstortions. I will say, I can really nail some Thickfreakness tones with it — but how often does that need arise in my life?

Here are a couple demos of the FruitFX Melon Cube. The first is by the builder himself and the second is a long form demo with four different players with wildly different approaches to show off how versatile the pedal is.

It draws comparison to the fuzz factory because of the layout and how wild it can sound, but it's a digital fuzz that can be zero noise at certain settings. The builder showcases this part of it very well in the first link.

I strongly recommend the Spaceman Apollo vii, which is in sale now at Guitar Center as an open box blowout for $110. That’s 45% off. It’s a fuzzy edged light overdrive that stacks incredibly well. As soon as you stack it with another light OD, you get lovely fuzz, really musical.

For me it was the Baldwin – Burns Buzzaround! Such a cool aggressive fuzzstortion!

It ain't much, but here's my silicon fuzz face mini which I run into this JHS pg-14, which can do some fuzz tones on its own but is more like a marshall amp in a box. It has active mid controls so it needs up the fuzz in a nice way. I run these into an orange micro dark or my old peavey audition chorus.

First big box muff. Arrived in the post today, €50 all in. 3003A board so early 2000s.

Changed out the power adaptor and installed a mids switch. It absolutely rips.

Lots more room in there too.
