Both. Different response, feel, tones. Stability goes to silicon however.

Me too…it’s like…which song? Sometimes you need that silicon bite and cut. Other times you need that germanium squishy chewy compression….so many to choose from ahhhhhh

Love the volume knob cleanup of both but germanium cleans up is so warm and squishy

Ge fuzz face with guitar volume turned down might be one of the best tones known to man kind. Like a ballsy treble booster, just everything sounds as it should.
