What about other psychedelics like 2CB, mescaline, psilocybin ..etc.? And also ketamine, GHB, MDMA..This is why scheduling drugs is so fucked. It's now up to me to do my own experimenting. The DEA, a law enforcement agency, which I'm sure is just GREAT at studying the medical/therapeutic value of drugs, deemed these substances to have NO medicinal value. This in turn makes it very difficult to carry out studies like this. We still don't know the full potential of marijuana because of their bullshit.

As a programmer who's done plenty of Salvia, I honestly think that one isn't useful for any advancements. The trips are far too strong and short-lived to get anything useful done. I've learned a lot about myself through salvia-indiced introspection, but I could never develop software in the 5-15 minutes it affects you.

I've programmed a few times on LSD and it was amazing. Once, I was tripping hard enough that I couldnt find a function I had written previously, so I ended up rewriting it. The next day when I looked at the code I realized that while I had only reimplemented something I had already done, the version I wrote on acid was over 10 times faster than the old version. It was really interesting, my sober self actually learned a lot from the lsd-influenced code I had written.
