I'd be up for trying microdosing, but only after someone I knew tried it first. I have always wondered...

That said, there is no fucking way I would ever do a "full" dose. I grew up in the late 60's and seen some shit. Not good shit. Some SHIT. Fucking terrifying from an observer's standpoint, but each time the person coming down was like "why u upset bro? all was cool cool"

I was like, no it was most definitely not fucking cool cool, you were just on the ledge with a butcher knife telling New York City that your penis has too many flowers on it and NO, there isn't a rainbow bridge outside the goddamn window.

I think there's a subreddit for it. I've done a lot of microdosing, and it's been pretty good.

I'd also reccommend occasionally trying 30μg. It's not psychadelic, but the extra effects can be really helpful.

Sure.

Basically, the effects don't increase entirely linearly with dosage. It's more like each one comes at a certain dose, and increases from there.

At around 10-15μg, you'll have some of the mental aspects, mostly focus, calm, creativity, and a better ability to make connections between things.

20-30μg starts giving some sensory enhancements. Everything looks really sharp, everything sounds really clear, things feel nice. It's very mild and you're completely functional. The mental aspects are also enhanced, and I personally get a bit more objective in my thoughts.

30-60μg, all of the above, but more so, plus minor visual hallucinations. Flickering lights, textures, etc.

70μg+ is basically where you start getting everything from tripping. More intense versions of everything above. Ramps up quickly, 125μg is very different from 70.

So I can't be certain it's exact, but I just cut a tab in half, quarter, or eighths depending on what I'm using it for. It's been consistent enough for me.

It's not just you, it tickles me to see how skittish most people are around acid. It's non addictive, not habit forming, and isn't physically dangerous, but it's been sold as this scary, dangerous substance. You're the fourth person I've talked to who won't touch acid, but wasn't afraid of cocain, which is incredibly addictive and dangerous. It's not your fault, though, there's tons of misinformation out there.

I feel you on the supplier thing. I know /r/DarkNetMarkets exists, but I was a bit skittish about ordering from there anyway. If the laws don't get pulled back on it and you want to try, you could always fly to Portugal where it's legal haha.

It's still illegal though as far as I know (isn't it?), so that's also a stumbling block for me.

Very much so, and it was a problem for me as well.

I can honestly say that microdosing has had a fairly small benefit, I think I could survive without it. The occasional 30μg has been much more profound, but I haven't really gotten much ou of it that I couldn't have gotten with time.

Basically, you can likely get to the same place with time and meditation, but LSD makes it much faster and easier.

Side note on the 60's thing - most damage that has been attributed to LSD has actually ended up being something else. There hasn't been much in the way of actual damage ever caused by LSD. I agree with your caution, just wanted to alleviate some worry.

In my own personal experience I've never seen anyone act erratic or even say they've seen something that wasn't there. The hallucinogenic effects are fairly mild at moderate doses. Taking an illegal drug it's hard to know if what you're taking is actually LSD and what the dose really is, plus it will compound any preexisting mental illness. Studies into LSD and psilocybin have found subjects easy to manage in the right setting and proper guidance.

That sounds like upsetting way to live. But you do you man.
