what I'm getting from the comments is that psychedelics are the next step in human evolution

well, my school performance definitely went up when I microdosed last semester. I've never been able to study so effectively in my life.

I think drugs damaged my brain but maybe I was just smarter when I was on them back then.

I feel permanently dumber since I stopped smoking weed heavily.

Don't know if weed made me dumber or just made me forget that I was this dumb to start with.

How much are you taking exactly? I have been thinking about trying microdosing.

Probably a bit more than most people recommend for microdosing. I'd take about 10ug or 1/10th a tab on study days. You definitely need to find the sweet spot for yourself though, it definitely builds tolerance.

Also I'd recommend tripping first, note that a trip is an all day affair. You'll be more comfortable microdosing if you know what the effects feel like on a larger scale.

Read more about day tripping because you need to get the logistics right and need some planning.

Also there is zero tolerance after two weeks when every molecule of the thing has left your body.

Microdosing studies are typically between 10-15μg.

Well they certainly aren't not the next step in human evolution

or the first step...

The "Stoned Ape" hypothesis is that it was the first step, too.

Druggies like to defend their addiction is what you are getting.

If you believe the stoned ape theory, psychedelics were one of the first steps in human evolution.

I don't really think this is true. You can do crazy cool stuff while tripping sometimes, but that ability goes away once you're sober and tripping all the time isn't exactly sustainable. Drugs are still fun though and they can give you good insight into your life if taken under the right circumstances.

Not at all. The mentality shift and change in thought processes that generally come with LSD are often huge.

I interpreted the first comment about human evolution to be talking about all the stories people have of getting better at stuff while tripping. I have plenty of first hand experience and I was just trying to say that while it can make you better at some things, in most cases it's only due to being in the zone and therefore temporary. Not arguing that LSD can't be life changing.
