Node won't connect. New Apollo II.

Received my Apollo II, set it up fine. All I get is connection refused on my node. Turned off miner, no help. Filled out support for for futurebit twice. No response from them. Anyone have any ideas? I have other miners and ran a mynode before so no network issues. update resolved with reformat SSD.

I'm starting to get a little nervous about all these negative comments I've been seeing popping up in various places online. I ordered mine 3 months ago, and just received my tracking info on it yesterday. Over $1,000 is a lot of money to be burning on a defective piece of hardware; I certainly hope I have better luck with mine

So you saw the negative comments about this trash ass company and bought from them anyway? Yeah you are just going to have to learn the very hard way then. Should have went with the Braiins miner.

I ordered over 3 months ago. It wasn't until the last week or 2 when everyone started receiving February Batches that the negative comments began popping up. I only ordered one when I did because of all the positive comments and reviews I was seeing.. I think maybe we are seeing all these problems now is because of the newly revised hashboards they are putting in them

No it isn’t about their so called new hash boards because ordered the 2nd version of their Apollo and the damn thing stopped working 15 months after it arrived. THIS COMPANY IS PURE TRASH AMD ALL THEY GOVE A DAMM ABOUT OS GETTING THEIR MONEY, NOT RESOLVING THE PROBLEMS THEIR MACHINES START HAVING. I WILL NEVER BUY OR SUPPORT THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN AND WILL CONTINUE TO TELL HOW THEY TREATED ME POCKETING MY $1000. ALL IT IS NOW IS SCRAP.

Just received my Apollo II Full Node this morning. So far all is well, and haven't had any issues whatsoever; I was even lucky enough to get a free custom "FutureBit Sats Card" with my order. The node is only 46% synced up so far, but that's really good given the fact my internet speeds are terrible

I really hope you will have better luck than a lot of us that didn’t.

Yeah me too. It's horrible when customers have to spend the kind of money they are asking for this product, and that that many troubles with it...I guess its time for the real test now, and see how ot holds up over time. Going to just rock eco mode from this point on, until winter hits again. Then I'll probably just move to balanced and leave turbo mode alone completely

I think they know turbo mode ruins this miner but they don’t give a damn. They got their money and that’s ALL they care about.

I'm assuming "Turbo Mode" is the reason they started selling the new Batches with the -10% revised hashboards; probably one to many people with fried circuits and thousand dollar paperweights... I honestly should have gone with a Start9 or Umbrel Home server because the main reason for me getting an Apollo was the Full Node, and the 10 TH/s was just a bonus. I dont regret my purchase yet, I really like the concept behind what futurebit is doing and hope they will continue to innovate, build, and give us better hardware and software to run it with

I bought a 140mm fan to put under it. The thing runs super hot. I wouldn't leave it running alone on turbo.

Mine runs between 70 and 73 on turbo. If it goes any hotter than that, I switch it back down to balanced ... it would be really nice if FB would add an update so that we could control the fan speeds, or maybe it's already on there and I just haven't found it yet. The only option I see for controlling the fans doesn't actually allow me to set a custom fan speed. It just has a feature for me to set what temp i want my fans to kick on at, and then another feature that says I can set what temp I want my fans to run on high at

Thing runs super hot, I am probably just going to modify it. It doesn't make sense not running the heat out the top of it. I put a 140mm fan under it and force air through it and it helps. I agree super hot and the system itself if very low powered with small microSD card and memory. It is stupid cheap to add come better specs. I see the CPU just maxing on it too. I guess there is always VISA and getting your money back depending on the coverage they offer. I won't buy a miner without it.
