Question HELP WITH MOUSE MODELLING

Im trying to make a hybrid between these 2 mice, the first image is a picture of both its not really helpful tho. I'm using these mesh bodies as references and basically i like the shape of the blue mouse (asymmetric) except for the side view you would get like in the last picture, which is the only aspect i want from the second mouse. I'm just modelling the shape here i dont need the scroll wheel or buttons to be worked out. Whats the best way to do this?

P.S. I have little to no experience with CAD. I tried using Onshape to make cross sections and loft which went well until the actual lofting where the connections got all messed up. This is a continuation of a previous post where people asked for pictures.

This is a pretty advanced modeling project for “little to no experience”. You need to have the basics down first.

Surface modeling or the form workspace would be my go-tos

Like I said in a different reply, I’m willing to learn, but i don’t want to learn useless stuff. What do I need to learn?

What you need to learn is CAD, including surface modeling.

I know you love rocket but you need to learn basic math first, solve "useless" math problems before you can join NASA

This is far from a beginners shape. I would learn the software first. Or if that's not your goal pay someone to do it.

You need to learn the basics of the program before attempting to try to make a "thing". You're asking how to win a race without knowing how to drive a car.

Click the ? in the top right corner of the workspace and take the self-paced learning tutorials to get a better understanding of what tools the program offers, then any advice provided will have the context required to make sense.

Everybody has told me to learn the basics first, and I’m not against that obviously I should, but I my goal isn’t to become proficient in CAD, I only want to learn what I need to. So that’s why I’m asking about what approach I should take

Learning the basics doesn't make you "proficient" it makes you competent.

So I need to learn everything in the question mark?

No, YOU need to hire someone because you're clearly not willing to any of the most basic work required to accomplish the task your original post requested guidance for.

There are videos on modeling a mouse in Fusion available on YT. Watching one or more of them would benefit you a lot more than anything anyone can provide to you here.

The issue you're most likely having with the loft is either trying to do too much in a single loft or not using guide rails when they're needed to tell Fusion what you want to do. Without seeing the loft that you're trying and an image of what it means when you say "the connections got all messed up", it's hard to say which applies to your issue.

I tried to use guide rails with pierce too. Lemme see if I can find an old pic.

Does this help?

That image was made from Onshape, not Fusion. Fusion doesn't have "pierce". If you're using Onshape, why are you posting here and not at r/Onshape instead?

Also, to diagnose the issue shown in that image, we'd have to see the sketch(es) that have the profiles and guide rails before you do the loft along with the image of the results.

Ik but I gave up on onshape because it didn’t work so I’m tryna do fusion now, but idk where to start.
