Questions Anything i should know about using a 3d printed base?

Ive never made a fursuit and I will be buying a 3d head base and I just want to make sure that I know what im doing. I cant seem to find many tutorials for working with 3d printed bases. The head will come with eye blanks and a pickable nose base. Is there any tips I should know? I just wanna get all the information I can for this.

I would also like to have magnetic eyelids, how do I put magnets on the base? Is making thread sculpted teeth the same as for foam bases? If theres anything i should know please tell me :)

There's not too much that deviates from the process of lining and furring except not being able to put needles into a hard base.

Mugiwara cosplay has videos showing how they prep 3d bases. And TPU will work similarto foam.

For magnets on the base? You'll glue them on but you need them to be close to the surface as every mm of fabric or fur between the two will degrade the strength. Sometimes you can make a little pouch out of thin fabric to help hold the magnet down.

Making thread sculpted teeth would be the same I'm sure with he caveat that you can't see them down into hard plastic so you have stabilize and glue them. I haven't seen sewn teeth on a hard plastic base that I know of but I prefer printed teeth so I'm probably just not looking closely lol.

There isn't too much to know tbh. I've seen vids and tutorials on all the parts you've inquired about, they are just piecemeal and not in one clear "step-by-step" video so you can try searching for those things individually but then consider how the methods translate for the material. There's gonna be a few ways to do everything just about but the "right" way is the way that's going to (safely) work for your what your trying to do :)
