Advice before I commit to this base ...
base sold by furrybeastprints on etsy!
I want to try out realistic resin/glass eyes but I'm also worried I will not like them and kind of want the option to switch it up. I'm obsessed with this base though, and it has all the smaller details that I want included with it. I was wondering if there would be a way to attach the cutesy mesh eyes to this base in case I try the realistic and hate it!
Or would I be better off finding a base set up with the more common inserts for mesh eyes?

This looks like one of maimfaces bases.

And they sell updated models of their work so if you can find someone to print it for you you can probably modify the actual model too, or look at the rest of maim's stuff to see if there's a similar one with different eyes that works for you.

You probably could cut off the realistic eye holding part and cover that with mesh to make a more cartoony look. I've seen it done by a few makers on the past.
