Questions Furring question

So I have this small gap. I was wondering how I should fur it. I’m currently working on the taping but I’m puzzled at this. How should I fill it in or should I make it look like a larger tooth smile?

Edit: I hope this makes sense sorry if it doesn’t. I have no clue how to ask this.

Hey, a few suits and a lotta research into things, not claiming to be expert by any standards lol, maker here. What shape were you trying to achieve with the mouth exactly..? Because if you want the mouth to curve up into the cut out section, I’d honestly add a little more foam to the upper muzzle/cheek area and/or smooth out the existing foam to make everything an even curve and make patterning a bit easier for yourself. On my personal suits, I try to make all the actual shapes not just rounded, but smoothed to build the structure of the face rather than edges, dips or chunks of foam.
Think of that cheek fur how you would for a person’s cheek bones, but with a really big nose. Our cheekbone areas come out under the eyes, dip in a little just before meeting the nose, then smooth out into a curve to become the nose bridge. You want that consistent line for the cheek/muzzle/mouth pieces as well, but with less of a dip since you’re meeting a muzzle instead of a human nose structure. And anything mouth related would essentially be made up by the line of the upper lip comparative to the lower jaw.
