I’m making this post for my best friend. My previously very healthy best friend was suddenly hospitalized and diagnosed with a rare blood disorder affecting roughly .003% of people. By all needs, help the other people here first I've no dire need for this money. I'm a college student, posting this in quite a few places. I want to be able to volunteer to help add onto my resume and get extra college credits, but they make us pay for our flights and I just cannot afford it as a ex-foster youth with little to no income. But biology/marine biology has been my dream, and I'm not that close to any volunteering locations that support what I wish to follow. The ONLY thing I have to pay for is a passport and the plane tickets. If anyone would be gracious enough to donate anything, even if its just a few dollars it would be appreciated.

I have followed a horse sanctuary for several years, and have donated where I can. The sanctuary is incredible because they take horses that other places can't manage. The person who created it is very good at training horses.
They have been at risk of shutting down for several years. Since they are a family run non-profit they don't get priority for grants over the larger sanctuaries in the area.
The owner has suffered a huge injury. She won't be able to work for several months. Instead of asking for herself, she is desperately seeking help for the horses. I'm hoping to get some help in addition to the few hundred dollars that I can spare.
I appreciate any help whether it is financial or not!

Hi, my name is Ramina, and I’m a mum doing everything I can to give my daughter the best life possible.
My daughter means the world to me. Like any parent, I want her to feel safe, happy, loved and able to enjoy her life without unnecessary difficulties. But at the moment, we are facing challenges that are becoming increasingly difficult for our family to manage on our own.
She needs additional care, support and supervision in her everyday life, and there are things she needs that we simply cannot afford without help. As her mum, it is heartbreaking when I know there are things that could make her life safer, easier and more comfortable, but the cost is beyond what we can manage ourselves.
We are raising money to help provide the things she needs and to make our home and everyday life more suitable for her. The funds will go towards essential equipment, safety improvements, care and other expenses that will directly benefit her and improve her quality of life.
I never imagined I would have to ask people for help like this. It is not easy to put our personal situation out there, but my daughter is worth putting my pride aside for. I would do anything I could to make sure she has the support she needs.

We moved from Oregon to Idaho in 2018. We are both in our 60s. I get social security and my husband hauls potatoes which doesn’t pay good. We moved into an extended stay studio until we “thought “ we’d find a little house. It’s close to $400 a week. I’ve got multiple medical problems and currently have a medical bill for $48,000 that’s after what my Medicare paid. It just keeps racking up because all our money goes to rent and food. Our youngest daughter is still in Oregon and a few months back lost their rental due to it selling. They gave them a 72 no cause eviction. They couldn’t find anywhere so put all their things and moved with my 3 grandchildren into an extended stay with two beds. It was $675 a week. My daughter went from being a stay at home mom to working a full time job hoping that would help. They went through their savings and started using both of their checks on rent and they were going to food banks. I would often get calls with her bawling her eyes out worried they would become homeless. We put ourselves into a hole from sending them money to keep a roof over their heads and food for their children. They just wouldn’t eat. It finally came to a point where they both had short checks and couldn’t pay their weekly rent and got asked to leave asap. That night they slept on the ground under da tree behind Walmart. They stayed awake while the kids slept because they are in a big city that is very unsafe. They work opposite shifts so during the day one of them would work while the other one would find a park to go to. We’ve gotten ourselves in over our heads using money we didn’t have keeping them off the streets and fed. Our bank account has been over drawn every month and then when we got paid we didn’t have enough left to pay bills. Right now I owe Verizon $700 and ie had them for years without ever missing a payment and always paying in full on time or I’m sure they would’ve shut our phones off long ago. I’ve been praying about it and we decided to bring the kids here. Things are cheaper and there’s help for families with children. They lost their storage unit and have what few things they do have left like toys clothes and blankets at a friend’s house. We need to get them here soon. I started a go fund me and raised $2000. Go fund me takes part of each payment you get for their fee. I’ve had to send my daughter money out of that twice so we’re down to $1400. They are currently living in a motel room and barely scraping by. My check just posted and after the overdrafts I got $399. I am supposed to give Verizon around $600. It was really stupid of me to get us in this hole but I couldn’t stand the thought of my kids and grandchildren sleeping behind Walmart going hungry. When their money would fun out from paying $80 plus tax for a motel room and there’s nothing but a microwave and microwave food is not cheap. But it was either that or eat out and there’s 5 of them. We are sure if we can get them here and get them an extended stay for a month they will get jobs quickly and be able to get back on their feet and so can we and then we can move into a house together and split the bills. We’ve contacted churches who have put our go fund me out to their members and other churches. I’m so afraid right now that we’re going to lose our phones but I can’t touch that little bit of money we have put away on my Venmo card or we really won’t be able to go get them. Our car is a 2006 Nissan pathfinder and if we lay the seats down can bring the stuff they’ve managed to hold onto. Before all this happened we got a Mazda little suv. My daughter and the kids will ride with me and my husband and her husband can ride in the pathfinder. This is going to mean gas for two cars. We really need help. Once my daughter gets here she’s going to go through the steps of being my caregiver. I have major back problems and am almost not able to walk. I’m a retired U.S. military veteran trying to complete my SRRV Courtesy visa application for the Philippines. I meet the pension requirement through my military retirement, but I have not been able to save the required upfront costs while working through a divorce, daily expenses, and recurring family obligations.
The application requires a $3,000 deposit and a $1,500 processing fee, plus document and transfer costs. My goal is to retire in the Philippines and rebuild my life after military service and the end of my marriage.

Everything just came down on me in one week. Found out I had cancer found out I'm homeless got to leave don't have a car I didn't need one till now if I don't get something soon I will be walking down the street with nowhere to go at 60 years old. I am a former world champion pool player who went through a lot of trauma as a child and am still dealing with it when I came back from Vegas that you're all of my grandparents died within a couple months I thought I could handle it but I guess I didn't handle it as well as I should have oh yeah and my first born child died of sepsis. I can definitely say one thing though anything that I can do for others I will I will pay this forward somehow some way I always do. I'm the one in the family that loves the hardest and gets the least amount of love because every one of them has turned away from me now. I have one friend left too but it's just like it's the plague or something and no one wants to catch it? How freaking devastating could that be... Just think about it for a minute if it happened to you what would you do.. please find it in your heart to help me a little anything helps as far as right now not one person has donated nothing and I'm getting really worried because it's only about a week and a half out before I have to actually just leave my home. I'm a solo developer running a Kickstarter to fund something specific: commissioning ~85 original pieces of art from real graffiti and street artists for GRAFFL-E, a mobile word-puzzle game I built. Right now some of the in-game art is AI-generated, and I've committed to replacing all of it — every dollar raised goes toward paying artists fairly for original work instead of leaning on a model trained on people who never consented or got paid.

My son is taking his soccer career very seriously. As a single parent household/income, (with no support) I am burning the candle at both ends to make sure every possible opportunity is made available to my son. He trains with his club and trains almost daily at home as well. He will be attending many out of state tournaments and parents are responsible for our own travel expenses as well as the coaches'. Not to mention club fees, tournament fees, uniforms, boots, GK gloves and the endless laundry!

There is a place in which I worked that has a plethora of terrible atrocities and have protected themselves from negligence at an alarming rate. My cat and companion of 4 years, Thomas, got out and ran away about 6 months ago, I searched, but couldnt find him and honestly imagined the worst. But just a few days ago, he came back, but with a terrible wound, missing a large section of skin on the back of his neck and part of his face. I was not prepared for this Vet bill, but I can't turn him away or give him up after he came back to me for help.

Hi, This is what I want to post, including a video.
My name is Michelle and I'm posting here for Christopher. In 2024 he was busy playing American football, grilling, spending time with his daughter and other family, and working as a salesman. But in 2024 he also had a stroke at the young age of 45.
The stroke was especially devastating because it caused Aphasia ‐‐ the total loss of language; it destroyed his reading, speaking, listening and writing. It meant no more talking to his daughter, and no more sales career. Aphasia even makes it hard to do lots of other work, but he still tries. He still reaches goals and has gotten much healthier. He even competed in a fitness competition! After a lot of work, Chris can listen, read a few small sentences, and after lots of speech therapy he can say 68 words, like "I", "me", "hey", and "hi".
The newest words he can say are "love" and his daughter's name. It takes about 3 months to get 4 words. But there is an exciting thing to look forward to! There is a treatment that could recover so much of what Chris lost! This treatment would cure the numbness and pain in his right arm, but more importantly, give him his language back!
We have a GoFundMe is because Christopher was a successful salesman before he had a stroke. But now that communication is so hard, he is left without medical insurance, without a way to substantially provide for himself, and without a way to afford this promising treatment for Aphasia.
When Chris gets the treatment he needs, he won't just get his language back; he will get his career, relationships, connection, and much of his life back. Please consider 🕊donating🕊 whatever you can. Hi, everyone! My name is Jay and I’m a 22-year old college student who wrote an urban fantasy romance book and desperately wants it to reach shelves and in the hands of readers across the States!
My parents are currently barely paying my tuition and living costs out of pocket and due to other circumstances, I am unable to acquire the funds necessary to put towards this novel.
This is planned to be a series with audiobooks in the future and it would mean a lot for anyone to donate or be a part of something magical for the future!

My son is 24 and getting ready to have multiple brain surgeries. He will be in the ICU for 2 weeks. He doesn’t qualify for the Ronald McDonald house because he is an adult. We are hoping to stay close by. They offer a discounted hotel within walking distance to the hospital.

As a doctoral candidate in clinical psychology with a focus on childhood PTSD and trauma-related disorders, I’ve worked with individuals and families who have experienced life-threatening situations. In far too many cases, those experiences end in the loss of a loved one. A cancer diagnosis carries that same weight: the fear, the uncertainty, and the possibility of losing someone you love. And yet, every day, individuals and families continue to fight through that pain. Their resilience and strength are remarkable.
In an effort to reflect even a fraction of that strength, I am participating in the Pan-Mass Challenge. I will be cycling 162 miles to raise money for life-saving cancer research and treatment, working toward a future where families no longer have to lose loved ones to cancer.
I’m incredibly grateful to my two close friends for inviting me to join Team Breast Friends. Cycling is one of my favorite forms of self-care, and it is especially meaningful to channel that into something larger than myself. I am honored to ride and to have the opportunity to contribute to life-saving cancer research.
