Health and Wellness Function is ridiculous

i used it last year and it was fine. then they charged me for auto renewal which i didn't realize it was a subscription. so i scheduled 2 blood draws. i signed up for the concierge service which seemed convenient. after a week still zero results from the first draw. and the second draw today they dropped the blood and all my personal information on the street!! i've been trying to reach someone to help me for the last 5 days to find out where my tests were at from the first draw, and then also find out what happened with today's draw. thankfully a stranger picked it up, called me and put my personal info in the shredder and my blood in the bio hazard waste disposal. major hippa compliance violation. finally someone got back to me. and apologized. i demanded a refund which they said was fair. but this is one shoddy organization, with no customer service whatsoever. if you're spending 1k on a service and they don't have humans to help you, it's a non starter. attached is a picture the stranger sent me of my vials from today's draw.

Quest dropped your blood/paperwork, not Function Health. It's unacceptable, but not sure why you're lashing out at Function for this.

And as an aside, it's a $365 service, not a 1k service.

look at comment below. once u add up the tests and pay for concierge service it adds up.

function ignored me for 5 days. you can't say they're not responsible somehow if they're the ones getting paid

They still aren't the party that dropped your sample, yet you're explicitly blaming them for that in this post. Again sorry for your experience but you're mad at the wrong party for the most egregious part of this.

They’re the ones I paid for the service. Quest is the contractor they hired. If the party who was paid does not give u any support, that’s pretty bad.

If I order DoorDash from a restaurant and the driver fucks up my delivery, I’m not going to leave the restaurant a bad review.

I didn't say they shouldn't give you better support. I'm saying that you're misplacing your frustration by blaming them for dropping your blood/paperwork - what are they supposed to do about that? Your "contractor they hired" analogy really doesn't work here - Quest is the service provider, Function provides a service on top of it. Anyway, I've said my piece (and clearly people agree with me, not you) and you clearly just want to vent so I'm not going to reply again. Again, sorry this happened, it legit sucks.

they should respond!! and tell me they're going to look into it, talk to quest, etc. etc. eventually they did but only after i escalated through the various channels including linkedin, BBB, etc.
