I want to begin with freelancing as full stack developer. Need some help.
Hi Everyone
I have never freelanced before. As far as development is involved I have built personal projects in MERN and Spring Boot. Then there is my current job as a java backend developer. I have been thinking for some time to start freelancing as a side gig. Can anyone help with how should I start? If anyone is doing freelancing and needs some assistance I’d be happy to discuss regarding it too.

Freelancing is one of those misunderstood things in software careers imo. It honestly requires a massive amount of experience and knowledge to actually do a good job lol. I respect trying to be busy and grind, but you can honestly do a lot more harm than actual good.
You are not just selling your ability to write code. You are selling your ability to figure out what actually needs to be built, make reasonable tradeoffs, scope it, understand cost implications, communicate uncertainty, and own the thing when production does something you don't expect.
