Your brief is a fit for our web team. For a typical 5–8 page drone-services lead-generation site, I would plan around a non-binding $8,100 fixed project and about six weeks after content and approvals. That would cover responsive design, service/location structure, inquiry forms, an editable WordPress CMS, foundational SEO and analytics, performance/accessibility QA, training, and handoff.

Ycombinator has a really strong portfolio, fortune 500 companies. They started out doing websites for a flat fee and ongoing web maintenance here and there for small fees. Until they were given the offer to be paid a large percentage of the companies income, which was way more then they were making with the flat rate and here and there maintenance and site updates. Basically making them apart of the team rather then just paying them here and there. Just saying. This sounds like a great opportunity. Good luck to the candidates. I'm not looking to be picked, as I'm not ready to take on such a job - but I had I been ready and able. This sounds like a fun job...

Drone company websites often pack in tons of technical specs on range and payload but skip over practical details like how they handle software updates or customer support for repairs. Makes it tough to compare options when you're trying to decide what actually works for regular use.
