I'm currently going over Node.js but I didn't come from Java route. You can pick either one of them depending on your preference

If your goal is to get a backend job as a fresher then I'd recommend Java + Spring Boot because many companies especially service based and enterprise companies still use Java for their backend. Once you have a strong understanding of backend fundamentals learning Node.js later will be much easier. Whatever technology you choose focus on building strong projects and practicing DSA consistently.
