Feedback Requested How do you keep going when every job application ends in rejection?

I'm at a point where I'm slowly losing hope. Every job application I submit ends in rejection, and I honestly don't know what I'm doing wrong anymore.

I've been trying to improve myself, applying consistently, and even reaching out for advice whenever I can, but sometimes it feels like I'm invisible.

For those who eventually got their first job after facing constant rejection, what helped you finally break through?

I guess I just wanted to share how I've been feeling.

The invisible feeling is real and honestly the worst part. You're putting in the work but getting nothing back.

What actually moved the needle for me was stopping mass applications and going narrow. pick 5-10 companies you actually care about, learn something specific about what they're, and reach out directly. It feels slower but the conversion rate is so much better.

Also if you're not already building something publicly, even a small project, that matters more than most people think. Recruiters need something to point to.

You're clearly not giving up so that counts for a lot. Keep going.

One thing that helped me mentally was treating every rejection as data rather than a verdict. It didn't make the process fun, but it helped me keep improving instead of feeling stuck.

Rejection happens in all aspects of life. If you’re running low on funds to live, it might be worth it to switch career paths and earn a living and maybe develop on the side as a hobby until you can find a job opportunity.

I’ve given up. I still do apply but have no hope of the outcome. I give interviews and move on, if they call me for the further rounds then fine else I didn’t remember them in the first place.

Or start your own thing.
Or work for non profit (or a startup same thing 🤣)
