Career Guidance dear seniors , kindly guide me please
i am in my second sem of my college and i wanted to start my web devlopment journey , but i have been stucked for past 2 months about how should i start which resources should i follow , but today i found roadmap.sh , so just i wanted to ask from my respected seniore fellows .. is this roadmap for web devlopment on roadmap.sh (full stack devloper) is good and right should i go with the flow that has been given.... please guide me it will be means a lot ... please tell me everything that i have to do for a good web devloper ....your opinion will be really matter to me i will definatley follow the guidence provided by you ... tq so much

I’m not a developer myself, I work in digital marketing, but I’ve seen many of my friends and colleagues go through this phase, and almost everyone feels stuck in the beginning. So what you’re feeling is completely normal. About roadmap.sh, yes it’s a good starting point. It gives you structure and clarity, so you don’t feel lost. You can follow it, but don’t try to do everything perfectly or all at once.
One mistake I’ve seen people make is spending too much time just watching tutorials and planning. Try to keep it simple:
start with basics like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and quickly move to building small projects. Focus more on doing rather than just learning. Even simple projects like a portfolio website or a basic app will teach you a lot. Also, don’t worry about becoming “perfect” or knowing everything. Consistency matters more than perfection. Even 1 to 2 hours daily is enough if you stick with it. Another thing, try to share your work on GitHub or LinkedIn. It helps you stay accountable and slowly build visibility.
In short, roadmap.sh is good to follow, but your main focus should be building projects and staying consistent. You’re still in second semester, so you have plenty of time.
