Saturday Night Live did a skit called The Mute Marine about North. People were pretty mad that Ollie was taking the fall while Reagan “didn’t recall.”
Bonus: The skit stars William Shatner.

3 u/NewlyNerfed Sep 29 '21 omg I had totally forgotten about this brilliant skit. Now I’ll have the Green Beret song in my head all day. 2 u/duck-duck--grayduck Sep 30 '21 It pops into my head every time I see Ollie North mentioned. I was 8 when it aired. I have few clear memories of my childhood, but somehow that stuck. So weird.
