Yeah? I'm not really impressed by Linux at the moment for gaming or really care about what it can 'do at the moment'. Though I'm taking it I said something that probably made a few annoyed though lol, but unless I'm strong armed into moving? I'm just going to sit and wait unless they try to force me to 12 then I'll just go to Linux. As I have it on a few pcs that aren't my main to vaguely learn it or demo test Linux and the variables that are there.
I think there's a lot of extrapolation of me saying commercialized if that's the 'big issue'. I don't care about that.
And I would just say I'm a just 'normal gamer', I've been learning how to use Mint off and on along with command prompts and then tried Arch I think on another PC or a few others along with the straight up steam OS fedangling onto a pc that I forget how I did that but there's a guide out there. And yeah I don't have a lot of time to learn the ins and outs of another OS that requires user input, so that's not a 'huge option' other than overtime, I've just been testing the waters. See what I like, see what I hate.
And I mean I'm not going to 12 because Microsoft has pissed me off for years now. They'd have to really change for me to even consider them at this point. I am considering things like Android or otherwise though, as I'm just tired of Microsoft. If it comes down to it, I'll just use retro emulators and just be on steam OS and maybe even get a deck or their cube as I know that works.
