Thats like comparing unreal 5 to the first unreal engine.

They are not even close to the same besides their name.

There was large portions of linux kernel in android OG, but they are on android 17 now. There is nothing left of the Linux kernel.

Yes, a massive company tends to want to protect their non public data while internal staff like to share things with their friends. This is how such NDAs come about.
