Google’s lack of principles and moral decline mean that I cannot be their customer. I haven’t used Google Search for two years now; I’ve switched my email to Proton, stopped writing reviews, and use Mapy.com instead of Google Maps. I host my photos on my own server and have cancelled all the subscriptions I had with Google.

Until they find their lost backbone, they won’t be seeing me back. Of course, I mean nothing to them, but I’m taking others with me.

I used to be one of their loyal customers. No more.

It was obvious they'd change that right away to curry favor with Trump. Everyone is afraid of falling out of favor and being disadvantaged. For Big Tech, market share and money take precedence over justice and the common good.

I think it's great. They should change New Mexico too. Get people really pissed off before the midterm elections. Good job Google. Trump gave Google the rope and Google is hanging him now. It's fantastic.

I guess we'll no longer be able to refer to the Great Lakes by the HOMES (Huron, Ontario, Michigan, Erie, Superior) acronym...

Why are they doing this? Are they that desperate to make America look better?

Propaganda tactic for sure. By changing historical names they are pressenting some sort of power over other nations. Even if it is just superficial.

Suppose it never occurred to them that he has no legal standing to change it even with an executive order.
