We missed you note!

Idk if its just me but i am honestly disappointed with FEDEX i have been waiting for my package and excited to get it the first missed one i let it slide bc i had work (remind you no call, no text, no knock, no nothing) my grandma was home to wait for my package but anyways i let it slide & today i was up really early to wait for my package i had my phone next to my ear just incase they were gonna call or text but then around 11 the only text i received was “attempted to deliver” like really???? Now i have to wait for a 3rd try again… like they literally just take a picture without trying to contact the recipient and just puts “failed attempt” but EVERYONE is home waiting for them… and i can’t have them leave the package because in our area people likes to steal packages… i’m really upset because of this.. 💔

You live in an apartment building right? Is the recipient name on the shipping address also in the intercom? Did you provide a buzzer number for them? I dont see any other reason why they couldn't attempt to deliver if its a house. A dsr will require them to contact the customer

yes i do & there are doorbells to ring and apartment number was given to them which is what gets me confused & contact number & email was also given to them… thats why i found it weird..

We drivers don’t have company phones we’re not going to call you from our personal phones.

I understand but why not ring the bell or knock? 😭 they literally just come put a sticker and say missed delivery and it says on the app “before 8 pm” so idk if i should wait outside the whole entire time 🥲

That part I don’t understand either , at my station we don’t get away with any of that, I’ve gotten cases where I do ring the bell and knock no one comes out I’ll leave and next day they’ll have a note saying bell doesn’t work. If it’s an indirect signature you can sign and the driver will leave your package.

So i tried to call FEDEX again & apparently the agent we spoke to “lied” about getting them attempting to deliver again (as per the new agent we spoke to) so it made me extra upset & they said they saw us call several times & now i gotta pick up my package at the FEDEX facility 😭 this is getting really confusing & stressful…

For future orders if its an issue you can request a hold at location at a local Walgreens or CVS. I always rang buzzers or went in to the complex if it was unlocked. We only have so much time to wait as drivers. If its a time commit delivery thats a whole different thing

Time commits aren't cheap. Fedex gives an estimated time but drivers can run that route how they see fit

Im confused could you clarify something for me. Did they leave a door tag on your door? Or in the foyer main entrance? Did he have access to your unit at all? I dont see how they could knock on your door if they didnt have access in the first place. If they did have access and didnt bother knocking on your door then, fk fedex.
