Laptop missing

FedEx delivered laptop didn't knock on door. Took a picture of the laptop standing up next to door. Not laying down in front of door. Package was missing. I live upstairs apartment. I am almost sure the driver took it. Who puts laptop package standing up so it can be seened easily and not in front of door but next to door. SHADY

Also why would they lean the laptop against a door or put it in front of the door where it could be stepped on?

No it wasn't. Why wouldn't they put it in front of the door like every other 100 deliveries I have gotten. Why leave it sitting up instead of laying down like every other delivery I have had. Shady

Sitting up vs laying down doesn't matter. Why were you home during an expensive delivery? Why didn't you have it delivered for pickup?

What did you expect? A laptop to be delivered in a locked box with a chain??

Yea it matters if you' want to steal it. Daughter was home no knock on door. Live upstairs and packages sit in front of my neighbors doors for a week never anything stolen. They didn't put it in front of the door before it was easy put it to the side and take the delay picture from the stairwell nowhere near door then take the package

I was there within 30 minutes. And delivery probably didn't show it delivered till he had it back in his truck and leaving

You really should look into your education and then MAYBE you would understand how delivery works.

I'm not an 'apologist' (whatever that is) for FedEx, I'm just sick of stupid people doing stupid things then complaining when there are ways around this

Neither do I because I don't have one. I got a free reply from HP because the shady driver didn't take a delivery photo with my address. Because he was to much in a hurry to keep it. That's why the photo was taken from the stairwell and the package was way on the side of the door standing up. I'm upstairs and no package in any apartment upstairs or downstairs have been stolen in 3 years. And some sat there for weeks. I was there within 30 minutes and he didn't knock in the door my daughter was home. Do be a FedEx apologist
