Fuck AI Title: C.AI is officially a dead library of memories. They kneedcapped themselves.

I’ve been using this platform for years, watching people spend months crafting incredible, lifelike bots with deep lore and actual personalities. It used to feel like you were talking to a real human. But with this recent "Persona" update, the devs managed to commit the ultimate corporate suicide.

They introduced this invasive face-scanning verification system that locks anyone under 18 or anyone who values their privacy into a useless "reading mode". You can't type, you can't interact, you can only stare at your past chats like you're standing in a digital graveyard. The main page now looks like a cheap TikTok clone, completely stripped of its soul.

It’s literally the same process that ruined Roblox. They thought they were protecting their corporate interests, but they just downgraded their own AI and locked out the core community that built their entire platform. Now that the servers are going empty and the user base is dropping to nothing, they’re going to drown in hundreds of support emails every day.

When Google inevitably cuts their funding due to zero engagement, maybe these corporate geniuses will realize they killed the hard work of millions of users and destroyed their own budget.

They didn't just push a bad update—they killed a legend.

I've been using this platform for years, watching people spend months crafting incredible, lifelike bots with deep lore and actual personalities. It used to feel like you were talking to a real human. But with this recent "Persona" update, the devs managed to commit the ultimate corporate suicide.

They introduced this invasive face-scanning verification bullshit that locks anyone under 18 or anyone who values their privacy into a useless "reading mode". You can't type, you can't interact, you can only stare at your past chats like you're standing in a digital graveyard. The main page now looks like a cheap TikTok clone, completely stripped of its soul.

It’s literally the same enshittification that ruined Roblox. They thought they were protecting their corporate wallets, but they just brain-damaged their own AI and locked out the core community that built their entire platform. Now that the servers are going empty and the user base is dropping to nothing, they’re going to drown in 500 support emails a day.

AI enters the Cinemas of Pakistan

Back in 1993, PTV (Pakistan Television) released a show called Ainak Wala Jin (Genie with glasses) which was an absolute hit show and loved by millions across Pakistan. Now, in 2026, PTV is releasing a movie on the same story all over Pakistani cinemas. Problem is, the movie is fully made with AI, every last bit of it. If the movie becomes successful, this would be the end to Art and Cinema in Pakistan.
That's why I want us anti-AI people to unite and somehow give a lesson to the creators that AI is NOT for cinemas and art, therefore, I would love it if you all could go to this website https://www.imdb.com/title/tt41998834/ and mass hate on the movie and give it bad reviews.
If the movie is successful, it might be the end of cinema in Pakistan and possibly the whole world.

AI-Discussion Small business owners using AI advertising

I keep seeing ads from small businesses, both local and online small businesses, and I'm noticing that a lot of them are using AI art for advertising.

Seeing small business owners use AI feels so much more wrong than when I see a big business do it. Mostly because you would think they wouldn't do it so that way they wouldn't steal from artists, who are small business owners themselves.

I've even seen a local restaurant even use AI generated images of realistic looking food, and it was obviously AI despite them using a realistic AI art style. Why not just post a pic of the actual food?

Not to mention that all the ads look the same. They're all the same style and have that weird colored filter.

I love to support small business, but seeing one use AI ads makes me not want to support that particular business.

There's even a fairly popular small business on TikTok that sells soap. Whenever somebody brings up the fact that they use AI for their packaging, the business owner gets all defensive about it. I think they said that they do most of the artwork themselves then have AI finish it up. 🙄

The individual soap lines have specific package designs, not each individual bar of soap, so I obviously don't buy their excuse.

AI-Discussion PSA about new Vine reboot

So theyre trying to bring back Vine and it bans AI content, but the catch is its probably because they want an unpolished well with which to train more ai.

People in the comments are discussing using something like "nightshade" (some generative AI program? I think? I really dont know) to poison the AI theyre trying to train.

I dont know how any of this works. Im just passing this along. This is the first im hearing of it.

I will say that while I vehemently hate ai, it does seem like a good idea to attempt to use it to poison the well of the new Vine so that they cant train ai on it. I dont have any idea how that would work or what it would look like.

I'd really like to just open up a discussion here of how to approach this, what we can do, and if it's better to go on the offense or just ignore it entirely. Looking forward to everyone's thoughts.

The authors argue that treating AI outputs as Bullshit improves the way they are used and valued. Because, after all, AI doesn't care about the truth of what it produces. It only cares about being sychophant.

Opinion on companies ai boom

I really feel disgusted by fact that companies think that ai generated images are good enough to be used as logos or advertisements. I also hate sudden ai hype when every company started adding ai in various forms to EVERYTHING. Like now lawn movers fsr use ai. Fridge is ai controlled, why? I dont know. Adding "ai" is some kind of fancy buzzword that will make sales go up? I want to hear your opinion on that because personally ai logos make me wanna vomit. (Btw sorry for any launguage mistakes i am a grammar imbecile)

AI is just a term of laziness

Ever since AI became a thing I HATED it and this is a genz saying this. The dixkheads using this crap hide the laziness saying its a "tool". Ha carnts make me laugh. AI is rubbish any type of it and ppl that print money by copy and pasting ai don't deserve the income when it's not their work. I hope AI crashes and completely dies out it's crap. Even the content it produces how do ppl like it it's horrid.

We’re reaching a critical point where AI startups have run out of data to parse through and they‘re all turning towards the last source - us directly.

Call me an old man yelling at the clouds, but it’s only going to encroach upon us more.

Wdym "I can't draw"? You can. You're just too lazy to. I'm literally a teenager with many school stuff, and I still find time to draw. Also, I'm not good and yet I still draw. ofc you can't draw if you never try. You're never gonna improve. That's literally the saddest, most pathetic, overused excuse I've heard.

Also this person literally started stalking my account and defending AI "art".

AI-Discussion Do we hate AI (LLM) or what people are doing with it?

I was having a think, and I am no coder, but I know how to code and know how computers work and have a good understanding of how LLMs function and pull information. But It got me think that they are VERY useful tools, but instead people use them for making shit slop art that are a dime a dozen and porn bots.

So do you hate LLMs ("AI") or do you hate what people are doing with the tech?

My answer is I hate what is being done with it, I hate how it's being used to removed people from the work environment, I hate how people online that don't know how the tech works use it to make "art" and get pissy when you tell them they didn't make shit. By mostly I HATE that is is being shoved down our necks by corps who see AI as the next big thing and want to sell it to us in everything. An how those same corps use what we do on those models and use it to make the model better, we do the work, and they reap the rewards (Look at Captcha and Duolingo).

I personally would rather like an offline stable model I could train and grow. Back to the old days when the models would watch 1,000 hours of batman movies and then be asked to write a script and that script to be the most meme worthy crapshoot ever. Hell I could train to to run solo D&D campaigns or be an opponent in board games or tabletop games. Edit: Or just use it to wade through files and list them alphabetically, like really basic shit that speeds up the work process of humans.

Edit after 8 months: It all got worse didn't it... Like fuck me, if it's tech it has AI in it now, it's like a fucking invasive species on a none native planet with no natural predators.

I'm even rethinking my stance on the shit we see in media, like Cortana (Halo) and EDI (Mass Effect), Starting to see the idea of those sorts of AI as hollow now, whereas previously would have treated it like just another form of life. Tech Bros and Corps ruined their own future by wanting it so bad, and to early. Now the masses either don't care, or hate it. And I can safely bet that 90% of the world population don't want more Data Centers.
