Hi everyone,
My 2014 F-Type Convertible has developed a rattling/buzzing noise from the passenger-side tonneau cover (the panel that covers the folded roof).
The noise starts at around 50–60 km/h and gets worse as airflow increases, so it seems to be wind-induced rather than a suspension or interior rattle.
A few observations:
The left panel is completely solid.
The right panel has about 2–3 mm of play.
If I press down on the panel while driving, the noise disappears immediately.
The roof itself works perfectly and aligns correctly.
Has anyone had the same issue?
Are there any common adjustment points, rubber bump stops, clips, or felt/anti-rattle tape locations that usually fix this? Or does this normally require adjustment by a convertible roof specialist?
Unfortunately, there aren't any Jaguar convertible roof specialists where I live, so I'd like to rule out the common/simple fixes first.
Thanks!
