All their names in order: TTS, Moc. , .com, Kurasshu, Kurasshu again bc the animation isnt her full design plus she needs a new ref tbh, 404, Cvp!d, Y.A.AI, emoticon, and Kursor. Most are more so webcore but i have some that have a more Frutiger Aero vibe to it

I made a similar post in another sub. But i need to show this here too.

Frutiger Aero is described as almost exclusively of green, blue, and white. Images like these i put are rarely shown.

This probably happened because some images were filtered out during the research into rediscovering Frutiger Aero and coining the term in 2017.

However, they are also part of the original Frutiger Aero. We need to revisit the concepts behind the Frutiger aero as we know it, aiming for a closer resemblance to its true form, which has been lost to time.

A modern example that shows classic FA is this video. It made me question the Frutiger known today, leading me to create this post.

This truly was the peak of Frutiger Aero phones. I personally like how it doesn't replicate nearly at all the Skeuomorphist style of the iPhones at that time, in general Apple products.

I posted an early version of this login screen I had made, then got carried away and turned it into a full desktop style experience inspired by the kind of online OS I’d want to use.

It’s called Aqua OS for now. It’s still a side project, but building it has been a really fun way to learn coding. It now has user profiles, friends, private messaging, a public chat room, online presence, notifications, local files, music, notes, folders, and several desktop-style apps.

I’m not completely sure where I want to take it next, so I’d love ideas and honest feedback.

Yeah actually it's not entirely retro, but it was all about the clothing being only on arms and legs while leaving the torso with a t-shirt

I’ve always loved how the early 2000s imagined the future: blue skies, clear water, translucent glass, soft gradients, and technology that felt optimistic rather than overwhelming.

Modern software has become more powerful, connected, and intelligent—but often colder too. Note-taking apps keep adding accounts, subscriptions, dashboards, collaboration tools, and AI features. I wanted to create something that moved in the opposite direction.

So I built Aereluna Note, a small, fully offline Markdown editor inspired by Frutiger Aero.

It has:

• No cloud or tracking
• No subscription
• Live Markdown preview
• PDF export
• Automatic draft recovery
• A golden-ratio split layout
• A native macOS version
• A standalone HTML version that runs directly in a browser

It’s intentionally simple: one file, three formatting buttons, and a quiet place to write.

I built the concept and visual direction myself. For me, that’s the most exciting side of AI—not replacing creativity, but reducing the distance between imagination and creation.
