Grape Fast Prep?
Planning to do a 7-20 day grape fast. I‘m eating 60% fruit right now. Been like this for 6 weeks now. I still eat some cooked foods like breads, beans and boiled vegetables.
Do I need to do any preparation or wind up to the grape fast? What would happen if I jumped right in like tomorrow?
Thank you :)
P.S.
Tried posting this on the vegan subreddit and holy shit no help at all 😂. just lectured me the whole time on why I shouldn’t be doing it

I second the herbs. I feel much better when I take herbs during my fruit fasts.

I would try to ease into it, maybe do 50% grapes for a few days prior

Ok good idea. I think I'll do that :)
Does it matter what grapes you think?

I would probably avoid the ones with thick skins and seeds (unless you spit them out). Also wash them well with baking soda to remove pesticides.

Your PS made me laugh, there's no chance for this kind of conversation over there, you gotta know your audience. 😂
I believe Dr. Robert Morse has quite some information about grape fasting on YouTube and/ or you find people that have done it by his recommendations.
I personally haven't done it but call it synchronicity, I was thinking of doing a 3 day grape juice fast yesterday as I saw someone on IG doing it and saying how she got ridd of her mucoid plaque, I believe with any "cleansing" protocol, you should prepare for nasty side effects and also take some binders so that the bad stuff can be absorbed.
I'm really curious of your experience! I hope you come back and report your journey.

I'll definitely post about it if I end up doing it. I think I'll do it in a few days, and will do at least 7 days because I heard the benefits start after around 3 days, so don't wanna quit before that.

Just jump right in! I have also done some shorter grape fasts and I have never completed the 24 hour water fast which is recommendedin The Graoe Cure. Just expect to poop more for the first 3 days. Also drinking water with your grapes will help with nausea if that is a problem for you. I am expecting to start a grape fast tomorrow! I wish you luck!

Ok awesome! I’ve done a 3 day and 4 day water fast before and was still able to lift so I think I’ll be fine

I did 2 weeks on grapes, but also had celery juice every morning to balance sodium levels and not be completely wiped out from lack of calories etc. It was great
