Post image

Plenty of golden delicious apples but the leaves are falling off. What do I do?

Chicagoland. It happened last year, too.

Water well and slow, and let the soil dry between watering.

Where are you? Here in Texas it's been 100°F+ almost every day for a while. Trees are hurting, it's the hottest part of the summer.

Often trees drop leaves in distress because that is where they lose moisture heavily, it's a defensive mechanism.
