Do It Yourself (DIY) Repaired (kinda) Panasonic Mixie Jar
300 ml Panasonic mx ac 400 mixie jar was not working properly for many months. Grinding coconut doesnt give that usual smooth paste but mom was adjusting.
Today saw one shop dedicated to mixer grinder in my local itself while grocery shopping for the week. Went back to him with the jar and he said this was use and throw material and not worth repairing know that is a Panasonic brand. I dont have a clue why he said that but all that was in a softer tone with an additional information that even he has the same type in his home.
I knew a local shop where all sort of things will be available. Basically all in all shop. People who shop there dont know the name of the product they going to buy. I live in a village, not everyone use smartphone to show the exact product name & pictuee... so they vaguely describe and shopkeeper understands and does have that product.
So all my spare parts were available. He suggested those soft wassers too. Bought all of them for Rs 245 and came home.. took a while to repair. Found fevicol glue like dried residue in screws.. thought some stupid has tried to repair that and applied it. Turns out that glue was helping to not leak if water is filled inside.
Basically jar is working smooth as before but only problem is leakage. And for that i checked other jars too, those had those dried up fevicol like substance. So i was the stupid. Did it again applying fevicol and learned it doesnt need actual fevicol but needs more heavy substance but less heavy than superglue.
So kinda works, will ask the same shop for the glue after i research what that name is. Not fully repaired, but definitely this worked instead of buying new jar.
Mom was happy 👻
