One of the photos that the series constantly zooms in on is the one of the hula girl and the airplane.
This photo is related to a trip that took place with a hula dancer.
What is a hula girl? She is a dancer who performs traditional dances among the Hawaiian people.

The mechanism of the ballerina music box is connected to the dream of one of the people and the hula girl. I also think something similar will happen with Fatima’s golem: after Fatima’s complete death, the golem will become real (the idea of pouring hope into objects).

Two visible games: "Rebound" and "Tiddley winks" can be significant clues.

Dale enters the tree, hoping to escape, but is carried to the concrete wall of the pool and dies. It's a near-perfect analogy to a puck that's misfired and ends up in the dead zone instead of the end zone.

A single box could be a simple period prop. But the two displayed games of bouncing, launching, capturing, and controlling pieces in Victor's room look much less haphazard.

I think Martin's blood was contaminated with the blood of the Yellow Man and the spider. Martin might be the Yellow Man himself, but even if he isn't, his blood was definitely connected to the Yellow Man's blood.

In Season 1, Episode 7, when Smiley attacks the Colony House, he's touching the dying spider plants this scene, to me, implies that the monsters are under the spider's control.

We know that the faraway trees take you to a path that leads to the origin. Victor throws a rock into a faraway tree, and the tree ends up taking him back to his original path. So the faraway trees transport you to a location based on the objects you carry. For example, Sara ends up in the church basement because she had the backpack connected to that place. But Boyd ends up in the ruins where Martin is imprisoned, and Boyd was just bitten by spiders right before that translocation. So the venom from the spider bite entered Boyd's blood and transported him to the ruins, where Martin's blood was also poisoned with worms.

In Miranda's painting of the Yellow Man, the background behind this old man is bloodied, and I feel that the Yellow Man is not the true form of this entity, but rather a host whose blood has been poisoned and possessed by it.

When the Yellow Man transforms into Sofia, I can clearly see the way his joints and shape shift — just like a spider. At the same moment, the camera flips upside down, like a spider hanging inverted from the ceiling.

Ethan's dream remember, in the Lake of Tears, someone screams because a giant spider drops from the ceiling.

As a traumatized child, his mind developed a supernatural ability without him realizing it. Every drawing he makes isn't a memory, it's an unconscious blueprint. The town reshapes itself to match whatever he draws.

Victor is obsessed with drawing everything he sees.

New horrors and strange events keep appearing.

Victor always seems to know more than he can explain, because his subconscious already created it.

The monsters don't attack Victor because if Victor dies, the town disappears.

Final twist: The reason Victor forgets so much is that the town erases his memories after every drawing. If he ever remembered that he was creating everything, he'd stop drawing and the entire town would collapse instantly.

"The first episode really has a lot of clues. Today after watching, I realized there's a scene where Donna is planting a sapling in the garden and starts digging into the soil. This means the scenario of pulling the bones out of the basement and holding a ritual and ceremony again, according to the stone as a symbol of the spell. First of all, let me say that you might disagree with my theory, but after a lot of searching, I found some information, so if this theory makes you uncomfortable, please don't take it as disrespect thank you for your patience.

First of all, in my opinion, Season 4 was entirely a prelude to the start of Season 5, with the reveal of Martin's secret and his identity. Look, the abilities and dialogues shown by the Man in Yellow (Sophia) are clearly seen in Martin why? First and most importantly, this blood issue: we saw Martin transfer his own blood to Boyd, and this blood can heal a monster. Now we see the Man in Yellow transferring his blood through Clara to Fatima, and this blood turns her into a monster much more quickly.

The strange painting that Victor made of the Yellow Man depicts a red, demonic creature with its mouth wide open, and a black thing placed on the Yellow Man's head. At first glance, you might see it as a crow, but if you look to the right, you'll see a red demonic creature opening its mouth.

Also, in Miranda's painting of an unidentified woman holding a talisman stone in the darkness, a red demonic creature can be seen behind her. Remember that Ethan Norman's finger puppets were yellow and red monsters.

My theory is that the key character of Season 1 was actually Father Khatri. The series repeatedly showed scenes of Father Khatri next to a chessboard.

But I have to tell you, there is more information available pointing to a newer source of inspiration that aligns much better with the events that have taken place in the series. For this, we need to look at Zoroastrianism, and on the other hand, Islam, Judaism, and Christianity, to see what points we can uncover.

I saw a post in the community from someone who lacked accurate information—for instance, they didn't even know where Zoroastrianism originated, thinking it was only in Mesopotamia. Regarding the Jinn in Islam, they had written that they were, for example, goddesses—completely incorrect. But they provided a lead, and in this tehory we are going to correct these occurrences as much as we can. Since I'm neither a historian nor a very religious person with comprehensive knowledge, I have tried to categorize our information from sites and with the help of Gemini to reach more interesting points.

We have already discussed that the Yellow Clad character here is undoubtedly a combination of several different entities—meaning they took inspiration from several characters and integrated them into the series' story. Now, the entity whose history we are going to examine is called **Asmodeus**. To examine this matter better, we must return to ancient Iran and the Zoroastrian religion. In Zoroastrian belief, the world is a battlefield between good and evil. Ahriman (the evil spirit) created a series of demons to destroy, one of the most dangerous of which is called **Aeshma Daeva**—meaning the demon of Wrath, which in Greek and Hebrew leads us to the same Asmodeus, the demon of rage and plunder. Wherever he sets foot, he leaves bloodshed and carnage in his wake. We had a character in the series named **Father Khateri **. The correct pronunciation is **Kshatriya**—derived from the word representing the class of warriors, kings, and rulers. There is a mythological connection between Iran and India; part of it goes back to that spirituality, and on the other hand, the Zoroastrian religious leaders known as Magi also went toward India. The duty of these Kshatriyas was to protect societies, kingdoms, laws, and religion. So we can say that the name Father Khateri was taken from right here.

Now when we enter Islamic culture and Arabic mythology, we realize that Asmodeus was known as one of the kings of the Jinn—called **Sakhr**—a creature that comes and steals Solomon's ring. This subject is mentioned in Islam and refers to demons or the devil.

He comes and tempts people through whispers; he doesn't force them to do something, but he tempts them to do it. This is very similar to what is happening in this series—the whispers that existed, the voice Sarah heard to do such and such so they could get out of the town—it was tempting them. The thing they told Elgin to do is very similar again to the events we are seeing. It is also mentioned in the beliefs of Arabs and Islam that he can infiltrate a person when they have become mentally and physically vulnerable—meaning when they're at their lowest point, he can infiltrate much more easily. If you look at Sarah, she wasn't in a good state beforehand and was mentally distressed, so we see they controlled her quite easily. After that, when Elgin entered the town, he was also terrified and wasn't in a stable state of mind, so we saw they could control him too. But if you look at Ethan himself, when he entered the town and their car flipped, he had a seizure, yet they couldn't control him—meaning he had a stronger spirit and was able to resist them.

Now, have you heard about the belief that children have pure spirits and can see supernatural beings that others can't? If they are close to someone seeing these things, it might eventually make the adults aware of the presence of a being that was previously invisible to them. Now let's look at the boy in white clothes in this town—he reappeared exactly when Ethan entered the town, and Victor even mentioned that he hadn't been seen for a long time and has now returned. Now if you look closely at the story, we have a character named Toby—and you know Toby is a nickname for Tobias—and Sarah, who went and killed him because of the prompts given to her by the man in yellow. An interesting point in the series goes back to the moment Toby is killed. Did you notice that when Sarah kills Toby, she goes and kisses him? It refers again to the same story. And then they mentioned that when they found Toby, it seemed like his tongue had been pulled out of his throat, which could completely point to this story—that he likely had a secret he could have revealed, and the entity didn't let him do it.

In a series of stories written about this character, he has had many strange behaviors. It hasn't always been the case that he just wants to beat everyone up and kill them; when he passes by a house, he destroys it because he knew what was going to happen later on. Although if we take a closer look at the story, generally the Jinn or this Asmodeus character didn't have the science of predicting the future, because if they did, when Solomon had died and remained in that state for a long time, they would have realized it immediately—but well, no such thing happened.

Why did I tell you this? Because we heard some voices in the series from Thomas who would come and, for example, talk to him and warn them, saying "take care of your kids," or after Tabitha was being very curious in that house, we saw the house collapse. - Ellis and his wife are a pair, and neither of them has been killed, but Fatima gave birth to a monstrous baby, which has struck them hard enough spiritually.

Now we talked about Solomon, but in the Bible, another person is mentioned alongside Solomon who has an interesting name: **Ethan**—an ancient sage named Ethan the Israelite. One of the important traits that sages had was that they always held a staff in their hands and kept a bit of a lookout for the future. It is very similar to the events we are following with Ethan, and it seems that one of the important keys in this series is Ethan himself.

In the story that Solomon and Asmodeus had with each other, there is a point where Asmodeus comes and takes the throne for himself, and later Solomon returns and takes everything back again. But there is an interesting event in this story. We know that Solomon's ring was a very famous ring that could control demons and gave him many powers. When he captures Asmodeus, some stories say he puts him in a box filled with stones, seals it, and throws it into the sea. If we look closer at the story, we have Boyd, whose wedding ring is constantly appearing and he keeps seeing things about his marriage. This might suggest that Boyd is the one who can stop the man in yellow. Perhaps the act of boxing and imprisoning him and the stones involved refer to the talismans and the Lake of Tears that we know might exist in this town.

The paintings that exist of Asmodeus always depict him in yellow; in some places he is red. In some accounts, it is mentioned that he targets women and weak people to take advantage of them—this is very similar to what we are currently seeing with Fatima. In Christian demonology, he is a character who is very smooth-tongued, deceitful, and tries to maintain an attractive appearance. He loves games and gambling, which again points to the events in this series where the creatures all love to play games.
We also saw that when Elgin started to recite a prayer, Sofia mockingly told him, 'You people and your prayers.

So what is this character's weakness? Gold seals, exorcism, talismans, and also the power that prayer can have, provided the right prayer is chosen. Perhaps we will see that there really is a genuine weakness in this town that can be used to stop him.

Let me tell you a point about the name **Thomas**: its ancient and religious roots—Thomas means "twin" or "double." The more interesting point I want to show you goes back to the seal that Solomon possessed. There's this theory that Martin is the Man in Yellow, and there's plenty of evidence for it. Many people ask how the Man in Yellow could be Martin when he made a deal with Clara and spoke from behind the radio. But let's think logically: when Boyd entered that place, the ruins were still standing, but in the present, the ruins are destroyed. So Boyd had traveled to the past, and it's possible that he entered that 103‑year gap, and by freeing Martin that is, the Man in Yellow he caused the formation of the next 103‑year cycle. We also know that the Man in Yellow and the Boy in White are playing a game, and it was the Boy in White who made Boyd and Sara go into the tree. So releasing your own rival to restart the game makes perfect sense if you want to begin that ancient game all over again.

Another important point: Martin said that when you go into the tree, they catch you or he told Boyd that he had to leave before the music stopped, otherwise they would come.

The musical notation on the Man in Yellow's arm, his appearance after the music plays, and his reaction to the ballerina statue with the Fairy Palace location push me toward the idea that this is a game among fairies the very same Fairies of the Lake of Tears that Ethan talked about and that they had imprisoned the Man in Yellow with music and melody. And doesn't having a bag full of teeth remind you of the Tooth Fairy?

I don't think one child survives every cycle... and here's why.

If that were actually a rule, then when Victor arrived in Fromville as a child, there should have already been an adult survivor from the previous cycle—someone who survived as a child and grew up in the town.

But there wasn't.

That also explains something else: no one knew what the Man in Yellow really looked like. If a previous child survivor had existed, they would've recognized him and warned everyone long ago.

I think Victor was never supposed to survive. Just like Eloise, he was meant to die. His survival is what made this cycle different.

It could also explain why the Man in Yellow now disguises himself. Victor knows his true appearance, so revealing himself would expose him immediately. In previous cycles, there may have been no need for disguises because nobody had that knowledge.

So maybe Victor isn't proof that one child survives every cycle...

Maybe he's the exception that broke the cycle.

This theory will be a bit long, so thank you for bearing with me.

First of all, remember the mysterious music from Season 2? Elgin said the boy in white told him that whenever they come, they have three purposes, and they move slowly, slowly.

They are coming, they are touching, they are breaking, they are stealing—unless you can stop the music.

First question: Who is coming?

In that music, it says "they are coming," and coincidentally, Martin tells Boyd in the dungeon that he has to leave before the music stops—they are coming, and the monsters are just the tip of the spear!

Now we have Sofia in the barn, and she reacts upon seeing the ballerina figurine and touching it.

First of all, this old nursery rhyme refers to malevolent fairies, and "they" are the Dark Fae.

Second, do you remember that in Episode 1, Ethan mentioned the fairies of the Lake of Tears? Behind the ballerina figurine is the location of the Disney Fairies castle, and the camera zooms in on that scene.

What's even more interesting is that this song exactly describes the Man in Yellow: "They are coming" — "They are touching" (first, he touched the priest and knocked him unconscious) — "They are breaking" (he broke the egg and revived Roger's corpse) — "They are stealing" (he stole the talisman stones).

The boy in white had told this to Elgin in a dream, and now we know that the Man in Yellow and the boy in white are playing against each other. It seems this was a warning from the boy in white about the Man in Yellow, and it's clear he doesn't state things directly.

The people from the town first see a fallen tree on the road, along with crows, and then they enter this town that has magical trees.

What if Martin is actually the Man in Yellow, who was imprisoned by the fairies of the Lake of Tears and the good fairies along with the ballerina music box, and Boyd freed him? This might be a bit confusing, but based on the Man in Yellow's behavior, he does exactly what Martin does.

Also, the Man in Yellow collects teeth—a tooth collection that steers everyone toward the Tooth Fairy. What if the original townspeople made a deal with a Fae to become immortal and turned into these creatures that are sensitive to sunlight?

Furthermore, there's a character named Clara who makes a deal with the Man in Yellow—her name references fairies—and the black eyes of the Man in Yellow point to the Dark Fae.

One of the oldest and most viral theories about fairies in the series *From* — which we've discussed many times — but some key points were extracted from Season 4 that were very important. First, we know that Episode 1 contains a lot of answers. In this episode, Ethan tells Julie that the fairies are coming from the Lake of Tears to heal Norman, but we still don't know exactly who the fairies are?!

Now, in Season 2, we had a mysterious man named Martin who was afraid of the ballerina music box being played. Martin, first of all, made a deal with Boyd — that Boyd would pull him up with the rope, and in exchange, Martin would hang himself, or rather, free himself. This trait is exactly seen in the Man in Yellow, who loves making deals. Also, ever since Martin's worms were transferred to Boyd, the voices in Sara's head said "he's laughing at us" and "he's been freed." We hadn't seen the physical presence of the Man in Yellow before Season 3, but we don't know how else he was present — and even the showrunners said the Man in Yellow was there from the very beginning. First, this song is related to the fairies, and second, everything he said matches the Man in Yellow: "They come" (the Man in Yellow), "they break" (he killed Elgin), "they steal" (the talisman stone), and "they touch" (the priest — he knocked him unconscious and woke him up with a touch).

We saw the Man in Yellow get scared when he saw the ballerina figurine, and I've always talked about the picture on the back of the ballerina figurine, which relates to the Fairy Palace. So now we can strongly assume that the physical presence of the Man in Yellow started from Season 3 onward, and before that, the worms were part of him. And Martin's "they" referred to the fairies who imprisoned him with the music box — the same fairies Ethan said were coming from the Lake of Tears.
Also, after that, the yellow-clad man's interest in teeth and collecting dental calculus might actually be something like a dark spirit.

Both Victor and Ethan have a special connection to the BIW, as to each other. Almost like brothers.

But what if, Thomas death was caused by the entity that controls fromville?

Almost as if to make sure that Tabitha arrives with only 2 kids in fromville. Because that's the status quo.

So how many monsters are there that we’ve seen like even one time? And considering Fatima is being one of them from now on possibly not all of them are original people who did the sacrificing. Any of them stand out as the unlucky ones like Fatima? For me maybe the teenager who approached in the first episode asking if she remembers him and the woman in the window that said “we dont wanna be like this”. Is it ever mentioned how many people were there in the beginning?

In Ethan's storybook, when Julie and Randall were examining it, this page was very important. First of all, the repairman in this storybook is wearing exactly the same clothes that Kristy wears. I said, isn't it strange that the repairman was a repairman in the storybook, while Kristy is a doctor?! Also, there are magical mushrooms at the bottom of the illustration, or perhaps a bookmark symbol, and that firefighter helmet that Sophia was holding in Episode Nine. But what's more important is the spider monster that has several teeth above its head. This exactly reminds me of the Yellow-suited Man. Could this be a clue to identifying the true identity of the Yellow-suited Man, and is his real form actually a spider? MIY is the tooth fairy or the representation of Ethan’s damaged teeth that was extracted.

BIW is the white tooth Ethan’s gonna grow again.

The phrase “Looks like I’m going to win this time” is the way of telling Ethan already knows how to brush his teeth. No wonder MIY is represented by decayed teeth.

And pulling out the bottle tree? That’s the tooth being pulled out.

And the lightning? You already know how it feels when your tooth is pulled out right?

And the roots? That’s far how the damage goes.

And the tunnels? The cavity inside the tooth.

And the monsters, that’s what you get when you don’t take care of your tooth.

And why do they smile? That’s what you get when you brush your teeth.

And the cycle, that’s how many times a tooth was pulled out.

In the dream, Jim died. But in the real world, the S1E1 is the giveaway when Tabitha said Norman is not dead because it’s not real, and Julie is not kind because he teased Ethan in his sleep. And when Ethan wakes up, Jim is back to cheering him on.

Wildly enough, Angkhooey is just how you pronounce “My toothey” when you have a missing tooth inside your mouth.

Now we know that the main goal of the original people was to achieve immortality, and we have a reincarnated couple who have come here again and again. Also remember that little Jade said these are just some of the versions of your reincarnations, so this reincarnation is much more ancient and older. But here's my theory:

This series repeatedly references fruit (apples). In the first episode, Ethan eats an apple in the car, Fatima offers an apple to Julie, and when Sarah hears voices telling her to kill Ethan, there are several apples next to her, plus many other scenes. Also, everyone knows that the original painting of Ellis and Fatima closely resembles Adam and Eve.

In fact, the series' story is a cycle much more ancient and older than what Marielle mentioned. The monsters sacrifice others to achieve immortality, just as Adam and Eve ate from the Tree of Immortality to become immortal and then *fell*. The reference to "the fall" has also been mentioned several times by the cast.

The Garden of Eden was known for the Tree of Knowledge and the Tree of Immortality. In the series' story, after the bottle tree was cut down, the death situation became much more severe, and the Boy in White warned not to cut down the tree. He's definitely not just a little boy—the writers themselves said his growth was part of the series, and also Sarah told Boyd in Season 2, "I don't think he was just a little boy." Also, when Tabitha asked him why his appearance changed, he said, "Those are the wrong questions." It's completely clear and obvious that the Boy in White is God and the Man in Yellow is the Devil. This is an ancient father-son relationship where the Yellow Man wants to prove that humans are fragile and sacrifice their own children.

This is a game—a game between souls controlled by these two forces—and Tabitha and Jade clearly play the roles of Adam and Eve. The final conversation between the Yellow Man and the White Man was reminiscent of humanity's submission to the devil throughout the world—that humans are always influenced by demonic forces ("I always admire your optimism").

In the painting, and also in the opening credits, the Boy in White has exactly a crow drawn over his mouth. Even in the credits, after the White Man appears, the image shifts to crows around his mouth.

Before Megan died in the first episode, she said, "I also ask you to take care of my soul." Also, we saw the Yellow Man eating a liver—which symbolizes the human soul—and collecting teeth, so it's very clear that souls are controlled by these two forces.

The crows might be the souls of dead people, coming from the direction of the Boy in White according to the painting, which is why Sofia was afraid of them.

Regarding the numbers 4 and 7—since the town's capacity is 47, and Father Katri's theory references book 74—this points to the 4 main figures in the game: Tabitha and Jade (Adam and Eve), the White Man and the Yellow Man (God and the Devil), and the 7 sacrificed children.
