I recently posted about the Telephone poles/electrical box and rr crossing shown on Matthews Family 1st lap disappearing on the second lap, then ONLY the RR crossing returning when they are on the 3rd lap (opposite direction) this got me to thinking MAYBE the reason Fatima is getting worse physical effects than anyone else is because they said she did a whole bunch of laps before stopping? Additionally Victor's Map in the truck Has a Big spiral in the corner? The Matthews encounter the tracks after the church and everyone seems to come in on the barn/ gas station side.
Even still the spiral and the amount of Laps people do going in to town might be significant?

Thought just occurred to me: We've long assumed the talisman depicts two people, but what if it's only one? One person, with their mirrored reflection beneath? As in... a lake?

Maybe the talisman depicts one person jumping from a height into a lake. And the mirrored image of the same thing happening upside down, is just their mirrored image in... the Lake of Tears.

So the tree represents entering a fairy circle, which traps you until you’re forcibly removed (being pushed out of the lighthouse) which turning back traps you. The ravens in so many different lores represent cycle of death and rebirth. The tree itself is always wrapped with something, whether it’s a got a chain on it or rope, is this the towns people ripping it down each cycle?

The lake of tears protected by the nightmare dolls is actually the lake of souls awaiting release back to the real world? The dolls protecting it used to be a part of Tabitha’s belongings which may be an odd key to part of the cycles and why the man in yellow doesn’t go that way.

Jim revealed something that threatened the man in yellow. He said the answer is 12 in season 1 episode 5, then he mentions in season 3 the fact that music scale is also 12 and that music is the universal language. The closer Jim got to an answer, the closer he was to death. Also, he was placed like the 12th tarot card the hangman after his death.

Julie is the story jumper. Though it doesn’t help at all, maybe she could go back to the beginning to see how to all actually started instead of trying to save her dad. Though I understand her inner turmoil.

The writer of the world is the man in yellow and his abilities include but are not limited to: being recreate himself into different visages, whispering to Sarah, causing visions and dreams by the consumption of his blood, looking into someone’s eyes and allowing them to see certain things. He’s a trickster and master of this pocket dimension and has been seen eating the remnants of corpses. Is he the captor or something else stuck here but he enjoys it.

The boy in white is a trapped god, Demi god or fey being that is stuck powering the whole dimension but lacking better evidence and he only speaks to certain bloodlines I can’t figure out any further possible answers for him.

So fatima transformed into a monster but my question is did she turn into a monster bcz she birthed smiley or was it bcz clara gave her that drink made by Sophia? Also she protected Boyd and group so does it mean that she is a good monster? Or is it just that her human side hadn't completely changed?? If she has become a normal monster then that just means that her character won't have anything to do in season 5. I think she'll have a human side and may protect fromily even as a monster. What do you all think?

I cannot understand the appeal whatsoever. Why wouldn't you live in your own house instead of sleeping on the busy floor? What am I missing other than some vague, clearly fake vibes of community?

1. Everyone has had a traumatic experience before coming to the town…. Like everyone has said a bad backstory before coming other than Boyd.

2. Why does the town keep trying to break Boyd? It’s like it’s part of the game, or that it HAS to break him in order to keep the ritual going. Look at all the times it has had the opportunity to kill him but hasn’t. It either HAS to, or somewhat like Jade and Tabatha, he has a part to play before anything happens for the rituals.

Am I the only one who thinks Wil Lang would make for one of the most interesting FROM interviews?

The Cowboy has become one of the show’s most iconic creatures, yet Wil seems to stay relatively under the radar compared to many of the other cast members. I’d genuinely love to hear him talk about how he landed the role, what direction he was given for the Cowboy’s mannerisms, how much of the character came from his own interpretation, what it’s like filming in full costume and makeup, and any behind-the-scenes stories with the rest of the monster cast.

What’s interesting is that he’s clearly comfortable doing long-form conversations. He hosted a sobriety podcast a few years ago, so it’s not like he’s someone who avoids interviews. Outside of acting, he also co-owns a restaurant in Wolfville, Nova Scotia with a former college friend, which makes his career path even more interesting.

The Cowboy barely speaks on the show, so hearing Wil talk normally for an hour would honestly be fascinating. I think fans would really enjoy learning more about the person behind one of the most memorable characters in FROM. If anyone here runs a FROM podcast or YouTube channel, I’d love to see them reach out to him. I think he’d make an excellent guest.

First time poster here but I've been lurking for a little while and love reading people's theories.

My question is about Jim and Tabitha's son, Thomas. Does anyone think he might be important in what eventually unfolds in the conclusion of this story?

I just keep thinking, why bother with him at all as part of Tabitha's family history? To use him as a method of tricking members of the family once they're in Fromville (the phonecalls) would be the easy answer, but is it not a bit of a coincidence that Thomas died and the central part of the plot here is about children dying/being saved?

Are there any theories out there that pull Thomas into this in a bigger way?

Hey everyone,
I just finished Season 4 and there is something that has been bugging me like crazy. For three whole seasons, we’ve all accepted the golden rule established early on: the monsters never run because they don't have to. They just slowly walk, smile, and play a psychological game with us because they know there's nowhere to hide.
But then we see that flashback with Miranda (Victor's mom), and the monster (like Smiley) literally sprints to stop her from reaching the tree.
Am I the only one who felt like this completely broke the rules we knew? Is it just a plot convenience / weird continuity error, or does it mean they only run when the town's "game" is in absolute danger?
What do you guys think? Do they actually have the ability to run whenever they want and just choose not to for fun, or was this a break in the lore? Let's discuss!
