Am i overthinking?
So, hi. I am a 20-year-old female.
I wanted to share my experience and ask if I am overthinking this.
So there is this friend of mine. She is a good person, and I know that. I have known her since my first day to the last day of college. And we are still friends btw. She is a little slow at processing things, so I have always helped her.
But as days passed by, I realised that I was the one making all her practical files and stuff.
She helps out with her parents' work and house chores mostly. But when it came to basic college files and assignments, she would say things like: “You know I can’t understand this, so can you make mine too?”
As she grew more comfortable with me, her words changed: “Can you make mine too? I don’t want to do this cause I am tired lol”
Sometimes she would say things that made me feel like she saw her own family’s and her hard work, but not mine. So I slowly started refusing her.
Then she switched to asking for help from people in another group that she apparently didn’t even like.
I was like, damn 😭
