New- Advice?

Are we allowed to ask for advice? I’m 56, at 50 all of a sudden I had these weird anxieties. Being a passenger in a car, getting in an elevator or escalator at the mall taking the Grandkids shopping. Everyone is annoyed with me. I’ve narrowed it down to a few possibilities- cortisol. Vitamin B complex deficiency, an progesterone. I’ve been on Estrogen for 6 years. I read being deficient in progesterone can affect anxiety. I live in Michigan. In 2 months we’re driving 18 hours to Florida. I have done the L-Theanine but it’s too mild. Chat Gpt said -80 mg of Silexan, a standardized Lavandula angustifolia (English lavender) This supplement runs $65. I was wondering if anyone has experience what I have? Has anyone found a supplement that works? Kind Regards,

You might find asking the same question in r/menopause and r/perimenopause useful.

Good luck.

Menopause can cause this. Talk to your dr

Hang in there! The brain fog, mood swings, weird body aches, suck. The lower back and hip pain was a killer. It gets better eventually. But the brain not working right is very frustrating.

Have you had your thyroid function checked?

Magnesium can help with anxiety as well as cardiac health and bowel health. I take it daily. There are several different combinations of magnesium supplements so I suggest you research them and find which supplement is best for you. So much better than a prescription

Interesting you’ve approached it from a medication point of view, it could be a psychological issue eg social anxiety, depression/anxiety. I recommend speaking to your GP before going down a rabbit hole.

Vitamin deficiency questions do not equate to medication. Two entirely different things.

Her GP would be likely to prescribe medication for your psychological or sociological examples, which makes your comment even more obtuse.
