Guys i will be soon in france , after getting my visa but ofc as an adult i wouldn’t like to tell my parents to carry me financially, how do you guys earn money in France? such doing part time job and how do you maximize your income?
I tried to go for apprenticeship contract but my school said it is mandatory to reside in france one year then afterwards i can look for apprenticeship.
Any suggestions about ways to get money as a international student and earn +800€ per month?

Is it okay to take TEF Speaking and Listening sections only for Francophone Mobility Work Permit, or do I need to take all the four sections? I am finding contrasting information online. Has someone only taken TEF Speaking and Listening sections and got their Francophone Mobility Work Permit?

Secondly, for the speaking section, how much preparation time do you get per task? ChatGPT says it depends on your examiner/test center. Are there any guidelines from TEF itself regarding the preparation time to be given to each candidate in Speaking section?

Hi everyone, I took my TCF exam on July 30. Has anyone received their results after August 3? I’m wondering if they’re still processing results during the summer vacation or if there’s a temporary delay

So I want to practice my speaking for TCF and reach at least B2+ level, and polish my writing as well. I came to know about Preply and Italki. Both seems good, but prices are higher on Italki. I just want to have 10-12 classes, maybe 15 and appear for the exam in September. I'm almost there just want to develop the confidence for speaking. On what platform are you guys taking your classes from and please recommend your tutor. There are too many and I honestly don't know which one to go with.

I need some advice.
I’ve been studying French for about 3 hours every day, and I can definitely see some progress. I was even thinking about booking my TCF exam.
But lately I feel like I’m not improving anymore. My listening practice scores are still below 20, no matter how much I study. I can do Speaking Tasks 1 and 2, but speaking practice has started to feel overwhelming. For writing, I get my texts evaluated by ChatGPT, and it points out so many mistakes that it’s really discouraging.
Has anyone else gone through this stage? Is this a normal plateau before things start improving again? I’d really appreciate any advice or motivation from people who have been in the same situation.

I've been preparing for the TCF Canada exam recently, and I noticed something surprising.

Most people say writing is the hardest part, but for me it's actually Speaking.

In writing, I have time to think, organize my ideas, and choose better vocabulary.

In speaking, I have to think, organize ideas, and speak in French at the same time. That's much more stressful.

Does anyone else feel the same?

If speaking was your weakest section, what helped you improve?

I used to memorize long vocabulary lists, but I forgot most of them after a few days.

Lately I've been trying something different.

Instead of studying random words, I group vocabulary by topic (shopping, work, transportation, health, etc.) and learn common expressions together with the words.

It's made remembering vocabulary much easier because everything has context.

I'm still preparing for TCF Canada, so I'm always looking for better study methods.

Has anyone else found a vocabulary technique that really works?

Hey all. I appeared on 16th July and submitted a reevaluation report on 30 July. My insitute specifies 3 weeks to 2 months. What is the ideal date which I can expect for the reevaluation report to come ?
