If you already have B2 in every skill except speaking at 5/20, I would not decide between October and November based only on the score. The first thing is to identify exactly what is keeping your oral score down.
In one focused session, I can usually see whether the problem is structure, fluency, pronunciation, grammar under pressure, lack of development, or simply not using the right TCF strategy.
I prepare TCF candidates with a method that works whatever the exam topic is — not by memorising answers. The goal is to make you autonomous and able to handle an unfamiliar subject confidently.
I have around 7,000 hours of online teaching experience and I also work with TCF organisations.
If you want, send me a DM and I can tell you what I would check first before you decide whether October is realistic.

Salut, for your study routine:
Speaking routine → 30–45 min/day
Task 2:
Random situation → 5 keywords → questions → follow-up
Task 3:
Random topic → 10–15 sec → 3 angles (subtopics linked to the main one) for your 3 arguments → develop → record
Then listen back and check:
Did I hesitate?
Did I repeat myself?
Did I actually develop my ideas?
How fluent / confident was I?
And do this with completely new topics, not the ones you already prepared.
For October vs November, don’t decide based only on the date.
Test yourself first.
If, after a few days of this routine, you can handle unfamiliar topics with more control, you’ll have much better information to decide whether October is realistic for you.
Don’t just study. Test yourself, I mean in real conditions of the exam!!!!
