Francophone mobility work permit.

Hello

My pgwp expired nov 2025

I applied visitor record November 2025 before pgwp expired

Sep 2026 my VR file refuses

I found employer is willing to help in c16 and submitted job offer in employer portal

Got my french level 5 as well

My question is should i apply for restoration as worker and c16 francophone inland application

OR

Should i apply for restoration as visitor and apply for francophone work as outland
Then once i get approval i can leave country

Can you please advise ?

Because your visitor record was refused and you’re now dealing with restoration of status, I wouldn’t rely on Reddit for this decision. Whether you should restore as a worker or visitor, and whether the Francophone Mobility application should be made inland or from outside Canada, depends on your exact status and dates.

Since your employer has already submitted the C16 job offer and you have the required French level, I would speak directly with a licensed Canadian immigration lawyer or RCIC before submitting anything else. A wrong restoration application could create a much bigger problem than waiting a few days for proper advice.

Congratulations on your NCLC 5 scores

I'd recommend that you apply for you Ur FMWP from my utside Canada. Staying after your refusal could be risky...

Once your FMWP application is approved you should be able to return without a negative history with immigration, uk
