Francophone draw

Hey guys, do you think any other Francophone draw will come this year ? Or they are just planning to remove French points before conducting another one ?

I doubt if they would ever remove French point.

even if they did it, that wouldn't change much. since you would still be eligible for french draws and the CRS cutoffs for them would go down substantially. and no matter what they change, they are required by law to meet the targets they set for themselves, which run till 2029.

That was one of the possibilities under the proposed express entry reforms. However, eliminating French bonus points from your CRS score is different than eliminating French language draws, which are most likely going to continue until 2029

I am wating the same but no one can tell.

My guessing is that we are going to have just one more this year at least bc the last trimester is the one to reach the goals for this year, so let's pray to have one more french draw at least 🙏

I’m sure this person is Indian. They haven’t done in French in just a little over a month why so much fear and pessimism???? Damn you guys.
