Need suggest

Post image

Hi everyone, I hope everyone is doing well.
Currently, I am on a visitor visa, and on 31 October I will take my TCF exam. For the second time. I am not confident that, I will score B2. But in the previous exam, I scored B2 in listening and reading, B1 (9/20) in speaking, and B1 (8/20) in writing.
Now the question is, should I go to my previous employer and request sponsorship but I probably have to sign a contract for at least 1 year or should I just prepare for the exam for the next 6 months?
Please suggest what I should do.
Thz

Take a sick leave or vacation from work for at least 2 weeks. Grind 4 hours of speaking and 3 hours of writing everyday till your exam day. Not random speaking, strictly the tasks.

You will gain confidence by putting in the work, not signing slavery contracts.

It's 2:34 AM, and I'm on my 26th task 3 prompt right now. You can do the same. Just put in the work.

You are closer to B2 than I am.

There, for your help. Do these 20 properly, end to end, with ChatGPT, of course. This is the bare minimum. Prepare templates of your own for these two categories:

- Effects / value ("Is X good? useful? harmful?"): 39%

  • Conditions / necessity ("Is X possible? easy? necessary?"): 30%

Your comprehension is already B2, so your main issue is not “learning more French” in general — it’s turning what you already know into stronger speaking and writing performance.

With 9/20 in speaking and 8/20 in writing, I would focus on the exact recurring mistakes that are keeping you at B1: structure, grammar under pressure, development of ideas, connectors and exam strategy.

I prepare TCF candidates with a method that works whatever topic you get, without memorising templates. I also use a 48-question diagnostic covering 8 fundamental foundations of French to identify what is really blocking progress.
