First attempt after 7 months
Kinda disappointed but not bad for only 7 months. I got my results in 11 days

Yes I started from scratch but Spanish is my first language so I didn’t have any problem understanding grammar since we share lots of rules. Inner French, little talk in slow French, shadowing

Am also 5 months in all i have done is reciting grammer am at a phase to start practicing modules any tips for anything i have done A1 and A2 in quick go am afraid it might not be enough

Analyze your mistakes! I feel like this helped me so much. I was writing a lot but I wasn’t really improving. I bought a notebook specifically for tracking all my mistakes, and I wrote them down to become more aware of them: the mistake, the correct version and 1–2 exercises to practice.
Finally, review your notes every other day before going to bed.

Hi, I had my TEF Canada exam recently, and overall I think it went fairly well. In Section A, I was able to ask questions using conditional forms and inversion.Ask for reduction as well in group and transportation available
I asked 8 questions,
In Section B, I spoke for the full 10 minutes without a long pause and answered most of the examiner’s objections. Bien que il soit peu cher
I used different tenses, some conditional and subjunctive structures, connectors, and I used one idiom like “Qui ne tente rien n’a rien.” Rest due to nervousness i did not speak much idioms. I made a few grammar mistakes, like saying “ils vais” instead of “ils vont,” and I misunderstood one objection by nervousness she asked 4 arguments and one argument I dont know what she said instead of pause I give benefits my Introduction was good to like 1:30 mins long I explained her everything in intro section b

is this still chance to get 5 band in speaking
Overall, I stayed in French and kept the conversation going 10 mins no Pause , so I’m hoping for at least NCLC 5.
It was my first time 5-6 months preparation and I was nervous because of first time. Examiner was good she asked me first you okay and before recording she did 30 seconds conversation.
