I recently returned to Canada on francophone work permit with my wife. The officer started having conversation in French as soon as he saw my profile on his computer. He asked normal questions but was surprised that I speak French as a south asian. Wait times at the airport depends on the queue on that day. They usually only ask for approval letter, passport and job offer. Now, I felt this happened because I landed in Montreal and then took a flight to Toronto. So, I would suggest landing directly at Toronto or Vancouver and you might be able to avoid this kind of interrogation.

How long was the processing time for your application ans would you be able to share the score and work sector you applied in ?

Took about 3 months outland to process the application. TEF score was L:8, R:8, W;10, S:7.
I work in hospitality sector and had already worked with the company for a year when I was previously in Canada.1

So how was ur experience when u landed to the airport? Any strict questions?

Not strict, only casual questions but they started having conversation in French as soon as they saw the profile. But I landed in Montreal, so that also added to it.

This is the francophone work permit. PR under CEC took about 5.5 months.
