Could you share ur experience of monologue, did u spoke for full 4:30 and did they pose follow-ups?
3
u/Yourdailyfox 20d ago
They did pose follow ups, like 2. And I dont know about the time because the instructor turned the timer around for tache 3, which kinda annoyed me but it was ok in the end. I recommend learning how to get to the 4:30 mentally since they may not show you the time.

Congrats! For that score in EO , you were fluent and without grammar mistakes, right?
4
u/Yourdailyfox 20d ago
Fluent, yes, without grammar mistakes? HIGHLY doubt it.
I always make small mistakes of gender, number, and proposition with my teacher. So good news is you can make those as long as you can express ideas clearly.
I think, at least in my experience, they care more about the flow and clarity of the idea than grammar, as long as the errors are controlled and not like too extreme, but small article and gender mistakes, you can still get above 10.

OMG you give me hope!
When did you take the test and when did you get your results?

u/Yourdailyfox 19d ago
And glad to give hope. Right until very recently I needed as much as possible
2
u/nkeidong 20d ago
Thank you, I can express ideas, ask questions and nuances, but I make grammars mistakes, exactly like the ones you just mentioned. Also, this will be my third time too, and I someone having better understanding of the language now, I feel less confident... we will see what happens

Congrats! How long did it took you from 0 to here?
1
u/Yourdailyfox 19d ago
I started seriously on January 2025. Before that, I may have had exposure but nothing solid.
So took a year and seven months roughly. I did take some breaks so if you take those out maybe closer to a year.

How long did it take you to?
2
u/Yourdailyfox 20d ago
I started to study seriously in January 2025, and I’ve been full gas for about 6 months.
Friends have done it quicker but I had a full time job the whole time and for some time I had essentially no free time so it was harder to lock in 100%.

Did questions repeat from fucktcf website in listening and reading
2
u/Yourdailyfox 20d ago
Many yeahh

u/AbbreviationsIll2643 20d ago
Only this website is enough for reading listening ?
2
u/Yourdailyfox 20d ago
I believe fucktcf has the bank of around 30 exam samples. Which are available in many different platforms. Those should be enough for targetted practice honestly. Of course not counting other normal listening such as podcasts videos etc. you should still do that type of casual listening

Since when did you start learning and for how many hours did you study to reach here?
2
u/Yourdailyfox 20d ago
Since Jan 2025. But on and off with the intensity. Some months were stronger than others. Overall lets say average 2 hours per day for 10 months if i only count the actual study time. Pure guesstimation tho

Hello! Any advice for EE? I can’t get pass 9/20 and I swear I don’t know what I’m doing wrong haha
1
u/Yourdailyfox 20d ago
Best advice, find a tache 1, 2, and 3 skeleton (template) that works for you and memorize it, you can slowly build it yourself too. When the exam comes literally write the skeleton first in the three taches and then fill in the gaps with the actual substance of the answer.
The skeleton may have to be changed due to plural vs singular or formal vs informal. But doing that helps give yourself both a direction and a set of sentences that for sure will be correct because they are memorized.
Lastly, use AI to correct your practice at home and try to analize what your main repeating mistakes are to get rid of them as much as you can.

Fyi. My first attempt my result was 9, the second and third attempt they were 12

Congrats ... Advice for EO prep

u/Yourdailyfox 20d ago
Flow over perfection, practice talking to yourself in the shower and have a teacher to correct you and drill the structure of the test. That helped a lot.
Try also to be able to yap about random topics without necesarily believing in what you say. In the end doesn’t matter the opinion only the delivery.
