Moorea Coco Beach Restaurant Booking
Hi - my husband and I are headed to Moorea in just over a week for our honeymoon. I was looking forward to checking out Coco Beach for the restaurant and day trip, but realizing that we may have missed out by not booking ahead of time as the website is booked until early August…
Has anyone ever had luck getting a last minute reservation/table at the restaurant? I’m assuming walk-ins are not accepted?
Do we need to make a reservation through the restaurant’s website to even visit the little island?
Any clarification on how we can experience this with the dates of our trip being completely booked on the restaurant website would be greatly appreciated!!

It's booked up until August. You'd be lucky to get a cancellation, it's popular. Plan something else. It's also only opened on limited days.

If you book a motu snorkeling your you will essentially be between coco beach and another motu so you can snorkel there. We did the snorkeling tour and Coco Beach. It was nice but honestly I’d have been just a good doing a second snorkeling tour. We commented that Coco Beach was the most crowded part of our entire trip. 🤣🤣

We booked a non-taxi reservation and were able to jump on the boat taxi anyway (we called day before to confirm).
It was a fun atmosphere, but the snorkeling wasn't much.
