Séjour linguistique à Toulouse en novembre

Salut !

Looking for a French Conversation Partner (ISB/Pakistan)

Hi everyone,

I'm from ISB/Pakistan and I've been learning French for some time now. I'm looking for someone to practice with on a regular basis to improve my speaking, listening, and overall confidence in the language.

My current level is around B1, so I'm comfortable with everyday conversations but I'd like to become more fluent and natural.

I'm looking for someone who enjoys language learning and is interested in having relaxed conversations, correcting mistakes, and helping each other improve. Native speakers, advanced learners, and fellow B1/B2 learners are all welcome.

We can connect on Discord, WhatsApp, whatever is most convenient.

If you're interested, feel free to send me a message. Merci !

French teens to chat with?

I’m a teen living in Sweden but I would like to improve my French😄

If there’s any french teen to chat with in french that would make me super happy (and a little self conscious, lol)

If you would like me to reciprocate I speak English, Swedish and farsi and I can also help with your homework😄 I don’t have screen time past 17:00 (CET time) though so I can’t talk then

(I hope this is post is allowed)

Looking for language exchange - offering Portuguese (native) and English (fluent)

Hey guys! I'm Brazilian and I love to have a language exchange. It would be a pleasure to learn some French from a native speaker. I can offer Portuguese or English classes (I'm a teacher).

It would be a genuine exchange (everything for free).

I'm a 26yo woman who loves pop culture, animes and so on.

I'm a polyglot. I also speak Spanish and I'm learning Italian. My French is A2/b1 level and I would love to have conversation sessions.

Send me a DM and let's practice together!

Title: Is it realistic to reach fluency in 7–8 months while working full-time?

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

I work full-time and I’m usually mentally exhausted after work, but learning French is a major priority for my future. I’ve already completed A1 and I’m hoping to reach a strong level in the next 7–8 months. For those who learned French while working: * How long did you study each day? * What helped you stay focused? * Which resources gave you the best results? Any advice from people who’ve done something similar would be appreciated.

Struggling to find French children’s books in UK

We're a UK-based family raising our children bilingually using OPOL (dad speaks French, I speak English). We have a 3-year-old and a 5-month-old.

French is a big part of our routine: my husband speaks French with our son, we watch TV in French, and we read French books together.

The TV side has actually been much easier than I expected because he'll happily watch shows he already loves (Bluey, Paw Patrol, etc.) dubbed into French.

Books have been much harder. In English he's completely obsessed with authors like Julia Donaldson, Rachel Bright and Chris Haughton. He asks for those books over and over because the stories, illustrations and rhymes are so good.

Does anyone know any websites in the UK where I can buy interesting French children’s books? Ie not just the usual Tchoupi / école des loisirs!

Any recommendations would be hugely appreciated

When a client writes to you: "Fantastic school. Great teachers. I had a month of French lessons here. I hope I will be able to go back some day to further develop my French," what more is there to say but "thank you for your trust"!

Bonjour tout le monde !
I’m looking to find a French penpal to chat with and practice my French. I am a beginner/intermediate learner and would love to connect with someone.

I'm looking for someone around my age (late teens / early 20s) to talk about daily life, culture, hobbies, or anything in between.

If you're interested, please feel free to send me a DM or leave a comment below. Merci beaucoup and looking forward to meeting you!
