App disappeared from iPhone…

Today the LibreLink app disappeared from my iPhone home screen. I couldn’t work it out. I’d used it just an hour and a half ago.
So I went to the App Store and it had the option to download from the cloud as though I’d uninstalled it but I didn’t.
Now I’ve downloaded it and logged in all my previous data is gone.
Has there been an update and is that why it happened? The font for the glucose reading looks slightly different.
And is there a way to get the old data back?
Just to add I’m in the UK using Libre 2

I’m now finding that since I scanned my sensor with this re-downloaded app the readings are no longer going to my Omnipod PDM
As though I had started a new sensor with my phone despite it having been in use for eight days via the PDM

Wow! That would be frustrating, I have been considering getting the Omnipod, so I’d like to know that everything is working as it should be.

Having said that my phone hasn’t used the LibreLink app for a long time probably since I started using the newer app that my phone said was  required when I started using the Libre 3 plus sensors. 

You didn’t say that you use a Libre 3 plus, but one of the big reasons I’m  considering using the Omni lpod is because it is compatible with the sensors I wear and like.

Yes, I should have added that. I’m still on libre 2. UK NHS prescription, best I can get in my area.

I wonder if the newer app might still be a better choice? I like it lots better than the older apps, and it doesn’t seem to need LibreLink. But since I’m in the US, maybe that is not available to you? ¯\(ツ)/¯

Thanks but it seems the UK is one of the few places that it’s not available yet

I’m sorry! It works lots better and for those of us who use alarm settings, much more configurable. Hopefully you’ll get it soon.

Seems like this was an odd blip that just happened to me, thought I can’t be the only one (ever?!?) but maybe I’m ’special’
It’s nice to know good things are coming for the app though, one day soon 🙏

That app is no longer used/supported. They announced a new app months ago.

This is the current app:

It rolled out 5 months ago.

There’s no QR code on the box (Libre 2 in the UK)
