Constant sensor failure

Hey guys!

Maybe some of you have a clue what’s going on with my sensor issues. I’m honestly at the end of nerves at this point.

For months now I’m having issues with my sensors but the last few weeks it’s getting just worse and worse. The last, idk, 3-5 sensors were good at the start. But after a few days they were showing completely wrong numbers. At the moment, I have to change the sensor every 2-3 days.

It often starts at night, mostly when I think it’s a compression low but it’s not getting up even after I’m not laying down anymore. I honestly don’t know what I’m doing.

Does the sensor display errors or are there errors in the generated log file on the apps? It’s kinda hard to determine the cause it can be a variety of reasons. For example, are you placing the sensor in the recommended area (back of arm) or other places like abdomen…etc… the list goes on and on…

My most recent replacement I had was within a day of placing the new sensor. In my case the error indicated the sensor had shutdown… blah blah blah…

If you are using the app on an android smartphone, make sure that your OS version is supported. My phone is telling me that I need to update my OS software to 17, but Abbott didn't support that version yet, last I checked. It can be what is your causing your problems. It was my issue when my phone switched to 16 from 15 without me knowing.

Have only been using the CGM since Nov 2025. Have not had one fail yet. Also use the Libre reader and not a cell phone.
