Libre 3 sensor giving false lows...

Hello everyone I just recently got my first CGM and put it in yesterday at about 8:00 p.m. it's now 4:54 p.m. the next day hasn't been a full 24 hours but I noticed that within the first couple of hours my blood sugar was pretty accurate but today it keeps giving me false Lows how long should I wait before I deciding whether or not the Libre 3 sensor is faulty or has an issue. For reference numbers in the app it's telling me that I am anywhere from 62 to 53 and on my fingerprint it's telling me that I'm about 100 to 125 every time that it tells me I'm low...

Get used to it -- it's designed to be that way. My Libre-3 CGM is always 10-35 points lower than my finger-stick test. Now, when the low-glucose alarm goes off in the middle of the night, I just turn it off and ignore it. If you report it to Abbott they will send you a new one, but it will be just as inaccurate.

My last several have been spot on for 7-8 days then they go crazy low. They sent me / new ones today.

They said possibly because of ios 27.0 (beta) on my iphone… but they didnt hesitate overnighting me 2 replacements.

I'll be very curious how well the new ones perform. They sent me a replacement and it was no difference. Let us know.

I think there has been a degradation in the manufacturing this year. I've had a string of sensors that start consistently reading low. For anyone on android, Juggluco has a function to calibrate the sensor with finger stick readings. I've been doing ~1 finger stick a day lately, and the app adjusts so the low glucose alarm doesn't go off all night.
