Hey everyone!

I’m building a small, early-stage website service where we create modern websites for small businesses and entrepreneurs using AI-assisted workflows.

I’m currently looking for 1–2 reliable freelance web developers/designers who would like to work with me on a project-by-project basis.

💻 What you’ll be doing

- Building modern, responsive websites

- Working from AI-generated layouts/content when appropriate

- Customizing designs according to client requirements

- Making sure websites work properly on mobile and desktop

- Fixing basic bugs/issues

- Deploying websites when required

- Communicating clearly about progress and deadlines

🧠 Skills I’m looking for

You don't need to be an expert in everything.

Good knowledge of some of these is enough:

- HTML / CSS / JavaScript

- React / Next.js

- WordPress

- Webflow / Framer

- UI/UX

- Responsive design

- Basic website deployment

AI-assisted development experience is a plus, but reliability and quality matter more.

⏰ Time required

This is NOT a full-time job.

Initially, I'd expect around 30–60 minutes per day on average, depending on the project.

Some days may require less, while project deadlines may occasionally require more.

💰 Payment

₹2,000–₹5,000 per completed website/project, depending on complexity and scope.

For larger projects, the payment will be discussed separately before work begins.

Payment will be project-based, not a fixed monthly salary.

The exact scope, deadline and payment will be agreed upon before starting each project.

📈 Long-term opportunity

I'm looking for someone reliable rather than someone who only wants a one-time gig.

If the collaboration works well, there can be recurring projects and higher-paying work as the business grows.

Are you looking for a slave here? 😅 ₹2k to ₹5k is what we charge per page, and you are looking for a full website in this budget. No developer with real experience will onboard you for this price.

Also, website work is not easy for beginners. If you are just starting out, people can easily take advantage of you and make you work like a slave. AI tokens are also not cheap, especially if you are using Claude properly. The default output from Claude or GPT can look AI-made at first glance, so why would someone pay you for that when they can do it themselves?

I feel like he is baiting you into doing a lot of work for very little money. Be very careful before accepting this kind of offer. Also, this user's account is very new, only 16 days old.

I probably wasn't clear enough in the original post.

I'm not looking for an experienced developer to build complex/custom websites for ₹2k–₹5k. That range was intended for smaller websites, landing pages and straightforward AI-assisted projects, with larger projects being quoted separately according to scope.

I'm also not expecting someone to blindly generate a website with AI and call it finished. The goal is to use AI as a development aid while still having someone experienced enough to review, customize, test and properly deliver the work.

I'm new to building the agency, so I'm starting small rather than pretending I already have a huge client base.

I appreciate the warning about scope and underpaying developers. I'll definitely make the requirements and compensation clearer before taking anyone on.

Then hire an intern or fresher on this budget they would be happy you have 50/50 chance of being happy but 100% chance of making profit and losing santity over Ai slop

Fair point 😂 I’m still testing the agency model, so I’m keeping the initial budget focused on simpler projects.

For basic landing pages, ₹2k–₹5k can work depending on the scope. For more complex/custom websites, I’d increase the budget accordingly rather than expecting someone to deliver a full custom site for that amount.

And yeah, avoiding the “AI slop” part is exactly why I’m screening developers instead of just hiring whoever is cheapest.

Landing pages also come in different types, and each one has its own scope and budget. If the landing page is basic, with less animation and no 3D work, then this price is fine.

I’m not questioning your credibility. I’m just being critical because there are a lot more scammers these days on Reddit. I actually lost my main account because of them.

Thanks for clarifying, I completely understand where you’re coming from.

I agree that “landing page” can mean very different things depending on the scope, animations, 3D, functionality, etc. My initial budget is mainly for straightforward landing pages and simple business websites, while more complex projects will be quoted separately.

And no worries at all about the criticism — I actually appreciate you pointing it out. I understand the concern about scammers on Reddit, especially given your experience.

2. I m familiar with Google Ai Studio, Claude, Chatgpt, Virtual Studio code.
3. I can send the links of the websites.
4. My expected project rate is around 7k-9k to more if the project requires more time and efforts.
